Bobby Charlton passes away at the age of 86

I was lucky enough to see Bobby play in those days it was less tribal than now, still hated the rags though, but could appreciate players more The one thing that always stood out for me was he’s was probably the most elegant player I’ve ever seen. He ran, no glided his shot was studding and obviously the old videos show that
I never like to say a player is the best as just look at Bobby Moore again, an elegant player in the same team never mind era, different position.
For sure he was one of the greatest Englishmen to play football
RiP Bobby Charlton condolences to his loved ones

Even as a City fan my Dad liked Bobby Charlton as a player. His Dad (a Blue) used to take him and my uncle (a red) to Maine Road one week and Old Trafford the next in the 60s, and my Dad always said Charlton was the player at United he enjoyed watching the most.

I have mates and family members who’ll be gutted with this news as we were with Franny recently, so respect where it’s due for an English football legend.

RIP Bobby Charlton

I'm sure us Blues will be "impeccable" next Sunday at the swamp observing the minutes silence, as we were in 2008 commemerating the 50th anniversary of the Munich disaster
It’s usually an applause for someone passing away when they’re old.

It’s a silence when it’s a tragedy or they die young.
