Boro Post Match thread

Played in a Semi on Sunday,a derby on Thursday, against a team scrapping for their lives today.....with a team hit by injury and a lack of depth.....and we get an away point that may be critical at the end of the season.

Pep out....lol.

Thank god there's some sane people on here. Well said!

Good wind up !! Best Manager in the world - as will become evident next season - has to get used to the league and get to know the players - some of which are not good enough for his system of play - we are all frustrated, but i started supporting City in 76 - seen the true bad times - we are very lucky to have both the owner we have and the manager we have !! Boro are fighting for their lives and no match in the prem can be taken for granted - see Swansea today, which on paper Utd should have won all day long !! Just be patient !!
Their dicks some of them probably only been watching city since the takeover, next year the same whingers will be singing he's Praise's if were doing well I just ignore them ,the majority are keyboard warriors and never go.

Pep underestimates our opponents in the Premier League every time.
He is the new Tinkerman.
Crap team selection, tactics and game management again. Passing the ball across the front of the opposition defence is easy to defend against. You rack up the possession stats and half chances but that's all.
We needed to make a lot of changes after the week we have had. I think he knows City have not been incisive enough.

Worst manager we have had since Hughes.

Cannot hack it in a competitive league.

Arrogant. Disinterested. Clueless. Overrated.

Poor in every aspect of his role - coaching, the transfer market, motivation, communication, tactics, game management.

Anybody who cannot see it is blinded by his cool factor and celebrity status within the game.

I'll probably get a ban for this but I don't care. I care more about what is best for city than I do what is best for sensitive blind sycophants on a football forum.

We HAVE to get rid. He's ruining the entire club.
Thank Christ we didn't get beat !

The line up was just missing Sane and Sterling on the wings instead of the two he picked , was looking forward to seeing Jesus and Aguero together with De Bruyne in his best position just behind

But Navas and Clichy offer nothing going forward so we had zero threat out wide

Jesus looked lacking in match sharpness and Aguero is really pissing me of with his selfishness when others are better placed

Garcia looked like he didn't know what his role was, he looked lost

All in all , the point means we have matched the rags result so not too bad

A win next week and we put massive pressure on them to win away at Arsenal

Disappointing result. Missed most of the first half and my stream was a few minutes behind in the second half but I can still say that the first half was poor and disjointed, perhaps the changes were too much and Middlesbrorough's approach somewhat unsettled the team. The second half got much better with the switch to the 442 formation with Sane in particular and Sterling providing most of the pace and energy to drive the team forward and when we got the goal everything was set to go on and win the game but we conceded at a very bad time.

Still fought to get the draw and the energy and urgency of the players in the second half was markedly improved but ultimately could not get the winning goal at the end. Aguero going off with injury is also worrying. It is still a fight for top 3 and the players will have to fight until the end of the season.
