Reckon you’re right about key players rested. Never much point trying to guess who he’ll pick but looking at the Leeds game I’d say Kev, Dias, Phil, Ffs, Gundo and Rodders are guaranteed (ish), add Eddie to that. Didn’t see Eric or Kun on the training video yesterday so Stonesy will probably start too. After that I’ve no idea but knowing Pep he’ll probably put Garcia in to man mark Haaland :(

They are certainly going to try to jump on us early like the dippers do. Expecting them to press high from the off. I’d play Laporte against that press. He pings one over the top to mahrez, beautiful touch and it’s 1-0 city.

Personally, I’d play Jesus at CF and Bernardo out on the right wing, but I think he rested Mahrez for this game. Maybe Bernardo misses out instead of Jesus.

If they get an early goal, it’ll be intense. If we get one, then they will have to play for two, and we saw how stretched it can get when they come out to play.

This could be a barnburner or it could be a snooze fest waiting for them to counter with the long ball over the top or slide rule through ball.

Either way, they CAN play football, so we should be VERY cautious about that. We don’t need to score unless they do, so play to control, probe and strike, as opposed to hell for leather!

Biggest issue now? Who is UEFA’s chosen cheat???

Uneasy about this, but then i am never confident. Dortmund are no mugs. Hoping Pep is proved right by resting what he thinks will be his winning 11. Big test for our players. Hopefully they won't let nerves get to them. If Dortmund score first, i don't think we'll get back in the game

We are likely imo to buckle under pressure unfortunately. I hope we go through but I'm not confident. All I can hope for is that the players try their very best.
