missed the game, heard ss made his debut
how was the game?

Not great Jess,

As you would expect, no enthusiasm and wanted to go home.
No shocks really.

However you may want to ignore most posts from tonight.

TOOTHLESS performance yet again.
We have one of the best squads in world football but all season we have looked average and only a shadow of the the greatness we showed in the early part of last season.
Europe has been a complete disaster and embarrassment.
Close season signings very poor with exception of Nasty (who I believe will become a City great).
Whilst unbeaten in the league most performances average and lacklustre.
Midfield and strikers are all struggling with either confidence or performance levels.

Apart from the players, who must take some responsibility, the finger has to be pointed at the management staff. Don't get me wrong I love Mancini and his many staff for getting us were we are BUT we have hit the buffers for far too long and it cannot be allowed to continue.Something is wrong within the club that needs sorting now.

If that something has to be a change in management, then so be it!

Came in here to post something similar. Don't want to see anyone sacked or shipped out, but sometimes you have to shake things up a bit. If this team can't be inspired to play top football that matches the caliber of players we have, then we need to either get a manager who can, or get players willing to work hard for each other EVERY game.

This is my first knee jerk reaction, don't expect it to sit well with some posters, but this is the FIRST time I've been on this side and unless something changes soon, I believe Bobby may be on his way out. I'll be very sad if it happens, but our owners demand more of their investments and I don't believe they will be ok with this.

Dortmunds work rate was incredible tonight. Our players had no time on the ball, the closing down was unreal for pretty much the whole game. They really are an excellent team and they look favourites to win it and Klopp is a superb coach. As for us, it's actually quite worrisome that we put in such a shit performance and that we can't live without silva and yaya. Mancini tucked up in his jacket ala Keegan at oldham didn't look good either.

True that, we should really be as up for it as that and as fit.

Not saying we are slack but they were all back in the box and spread out fast, chased down etc, to the final whistle.
They were convicted to the cause when we were already demoralised i admit this is a factor but still their movement was much better than ours.

I wonder what the fitness regime is like for them, anyone know ?

I'll keep saying the same things.

The summer signings were a joke. Nastisic doesn't look great to me, and the rest...nothing needs to be said.
Dzeko and Balotelli are average. This wasn't a big game but in some big games Dzeko has started ahead of Tevez and that is a farce.

Mancini talking bollocks again after the match, same old stuff about 'we need to score more goals etc etc', thanks for that Roberto. He never says anything that makes me think he's really shrewd.

Nastasic has settled in well, he was chucked on the left today where he is not used to playing but you are going to judge him on that alone ?

I see your post history nods towards some dislike of Nastasic for some reason with no basis.

Dzeko and Balo did not show up yep i agree with that but i trust the manager regarding who to start.

What would he have to say to convince you he is a shrewd and tactically astute manager ?

The reality is, City are NOT a world class team.

Still many more years away before we can be up there with best in the world.

PSG look miles ahead of us right now and they started later.

PSG have Ancelotti, much more technical than Mancini.

Im just gutted that we did not get the result we needed.

have you seen PSG's performances in the French league. they ae loosing to teams city could easily destroy 10-0. I think....
