Brian Horton

Sending our thoughts and best wishes to Brian and his family.

Once interrupted him and his wife during a curry after realising drunkenly they were sat next to us. He was an absolute gent, didn't let a bunch of pissed up city fans annoy him and had a good chat.

Should have had the chance to do something under Franny, his exciting, attacking football was something many a blue clung to in those times.

I used to love his post match interviews. We was unlucky want weee? we played well dint weee? You know, Flitty n Quinny played well, and Curly and don't forget Beagsy and Lomasy! OK, we got beat 6-0 but we played well dint weee.. Joking aside, it was one of City's worse decisions of that time(and there were many) to get rid of him and bring in the squealing midget. Best wishes and health to a very nice man.

Not a big fan of the world cup winner then?
