The 94/95 team was 3 players short of being a decent top half outfit. In defence we were especially lacking and we struggled with the keeper position when Coton wasn’t available.
He was very good, sadly most of our fan base didn't want him to start with, because they didn't know who he was.He wasn't the worst manager we had
His football was brilliant, a very likeable manager. That 5-2 Spurs game was something elseI've been watching City since 1961 and Brian was my favourite manager.
Not the most successful, but a real football man and genuinely nice man.
(No disrespect to Joe M, Big Mal, Bobby Manc, Pep etc intended)
