Per usual shafted by VAR
Everything we earn we get ourselves, they give us nothing.
I`m talking about defenders who constantly pull at the shirts of those attacking the ball from corners.Seldom do you see penalties given.Because they haven’t led directly to a goal, I just said that.
Yep. It was a foul.It was still a pull on the Brighton player if it had been given as goal against us I'd have been pissed off.
Might be a good team, but the rags is a much harder game.Thank God City aren't playing Brighton in the FA Cup final. They're a very good team.
It's because we were man marked all over the pitch for 90mins. There was no easy outball for our keeper. He shouldn't have been given the ball as much, we passed back more than ever tonight

It's dog eat dog in this game now WDB, and you won't find Pep in a tin of pedigree chum.Sounds a bit entitled that, talking about taking another club’s staff.

Except that that wouldn't be our starting 11 if it was the final. Agree that Brighton are a good team, it's keeping them that will be the problem.Thank God City aren't playing Brighton in the FA Cup final. They're a very good team.
The chances of someone even close enough to be Pep's successor being unemployed at the time is vanishingly small. So we are going to be taking some other clubs staff, one way or another.Sounds a bit entitled that, talking about taking another club’s staff.
Wasn’t a fan of having Rodri at CB, felt it left our midfield wide open. Hopefully just a one off experiment from Pep
It emphasised what we have all been saying.
Lose Rodri from that midfield and we lose our heartbeat.
Gundo and Kev need his power and positional sense, without that they are a shadow of themselves and look very vulnerable to the counter.
I don't think Pep will do anything drastic tactically or in terms of lineup for either final, but for anyone concerned about that, it was a good game to show the need for Rodri central. Gundo can play the DM role in certain games but as soon as there's a bit of pressure or a physical battle he's lost. Even against Leeds, where he'd been very good for most of the game, as soon as they started pushing forwards and lumping balls into the box he lost his grip on the game and we had to send Rodri on. There's not a chance Rodri doesn't play both games at DM if fit.
The last CL final was influenced by previous games between Pep and Tuchel and he made a call which didn't work. Much is made of it, but we could have still won that game with a tactical change (which Pep did make) if De Bruyne hadn't have been assaulted. When he went off the pitch our chances went with him.
maybe we were watching the present and future city manager ?
We missed Rodri in his usual role, he is the one that enables us to play through those presses. It's because we were man marked all over the pitch for 90mins. There was no easy outball for our keeper.
