According to Kicker Bayern currently gets some stick from managers of other clubs after the Götze transfer, as they seem to completely skip talking to the owners of certain players and instead contact them directly (which is not allowed according to Bundesliga standards).
So the clubs don´t even know what happens to them and their players...

Seems like they signed Sebastian Rode from Eintracht Frankfurt now as well which is a shame...
Another promising cm with Martinez, Schwienstiger, Gustavo and Toni Kroos can play there too. I'm surprised they haven't looked to sign a Left winger they only really have Ribery
Shaqiri? Pretty decent back up for the left wing if you ask me. They had no backup for Kroos, that's why the formation changes when he's missing. Alaba can do a pretty good job on the left wing as well, if necessary. Robben played left wing a few times for Bayern and he was pretty great on the left side at Chelsea too.

Yeh, but Shaqiri is left footed and they like to play with inverted wingers. Their squad depth is amazing but I'm sure it will cause problems when players don't make it for the very big games.

Ribery, Robben, Müller, Shaqiri, Alaba can play left wing
Robben, Müller, Shaqiri can play right wing - even Rafinha (maybe tomorrow)
Kroos, Müller and Shaqiri can play CAM (and Schweinsteiger or even Pizarro)

Götze can slide into any of this positions, too. But he probably will take over the CAM-position. I am not thinking it will be a false 9 position for him - we are in Germany not in Spain. Although - it certainly ain't wrong to have a very mobile striker so Götze and Müller can switch places with him.

It is not that there is no backup for Kroos - you just have other interpretations of that role with different players. The shadow striker version with Müller that worked very well against Juve and Barcelona. A more defensive version with Schweinsteiger as CAM and Gustavo and Martinez in defensive midfield - against Barcelona after Gomez got subbed and Müller/Pizarro played striker. At the weekend - in the 6:1 in Hannover Pizarro played CAM. And Shaqiri has played it a couple of times this season, too.

I agree there is plenty of squad depth. The Bayern second team could frankly compete very well in the Champions league. The problem is I feel Shaqiri and Kroos need games. I hear Robben is off, but they may not play enough. I think it would best to loan Shaqiri to another top team.

Robben ain't off. But it might be that he and Gomez just wait until the training starts and see how their chances are. Could be late exits of them in August... - but you never know. The cards will get mixed again. Robben probably will fight with Müller for the right winger position - and as good Robben is Müller already has him. His young, versatile, scores as good as Robben and especially when it gets tough and is the homegrown player. And I do not know if Robben will stay if he would know from the start that he has problems to get his starts.

It is the same with Gomez.

Kroos was in action until he had his injury and is now off until the end of the season.

And Shaqiri. He only did not have much minutes at the beginning of the season halves when there has not been international matches, nobody was injured and there was not much rotation. He is a clear no. 5 in that offensive row - and actually he cannot und could not expect more - but when somebody is injured like Robben at the beginning or now Kroos he gets enough time - just not in the big matches. If you take the minutes Müller now has 3122, Ribery 2761, Kroos 2858, Robben 1798 and Shaqiri 1683. I think that is okay like this.
