Wishlist for May:

1. FA cup and no injuries.
2. Announcement of some exciting transfers in.
3. Arsenal tripping up and not getting into top 4
4. Klopp and boys shredding die deutche rags at Wembley.

yep.

Dortmund fans start to express their thoughts about the Götze transfer:

Well, that wasn't quite what I expected.

Dortmund rested Hummels, Reus and Bender with Götze and Piszczek injured. Reus and Bender came on later.
Bayern with excessive changes to their usual starting lineup. The only players from their usual starting 11 were Neuer, Boateng and Alaba. Müller came on as a sub.

After seeing how Dortmund struggled against Bayerns second string (who were down to ten men from minute 65 onwards) while pretty much playing their best eleven currently available I can't help but feel they'll get hammered in the CL final. There's that much of a gap between the Bayern I saw yesterday and the Bayern I saw against Barcelona and Juventus. No matter how much of a tactical genius Klopp may be, I don't think they'll be able tu pull one on Bayern this time. This years CL got Bayern written all over it. Lost it at home to a club from London to win it in London one year later. The perfect plot.

so Dortmund were pretty much full strength despite not starting 5 key first teamers? right...

methinks you're a Bayern fan.

You should learn to read properly. I wrote "pretty much their best eleven currently available" which excludes the injured Götze and Piszczek, of course. Bender and Reus came on later when Bayern were down to ten men, so apart from those injured they played at their full strength against a second string Bayern team that included Neuer, Alaba, Boateng and Müller from their usual starters. Got nothing to do with me supporting Bayern. Just stating the obvious. I couldn't care less who wins it in the end, but Bayern have been very impressive against Barcelona and Juventus whilst Dortmund struggled against Malaga and Madrid. I won't say Dortmund haven't got a chance to win it but from my point of view it's a rather slim one.

You're spouting bollocks to try and make the result look better on Bayern than it was.

They left 5 of their best players out for whatever reason so were nowhere near full strength and as you pointed both Reus and Muller came on so apart from Bender it's pretty much the same situation for both, as Bender is a DM.

Dortmund didn't struggle against Madrid, they were comfortably the better team for 80% of the tie.

Of course they were the better team over both legs and fully deserved to go through. Especially in the first leg they raped Madrid. Still they had to struggle at the end, like bayern had to when facing Arsenal at home in the return leg. Struggling isn't necessarily a prolonged state. You're nitpicking here.

So it was pretty much the same situation for both? Bayern starting 3 players of the First string and Dortmund starting 6 of them. Dortmund later brought on two first string players while Bayern brought on one. Dortmund playing at home had less of the ball and the teams were pretty even on clear cut chances except the pen, which should have seen Dortmund to 3 points in all honesty. And what's got Bender beeing a DM to do with anything? Looks to me like your'e desperately trying to prove that Dortmund were the better team yesterday when they clearly were not. It was an even match and the result pretty much was a fair one. Dortmund just failed to capitalise on their home advantage and the unbelievable athmosphere at Signal Iduna Park. I'll say it again... Dortmund on song is one of the best teams on the planet, but currently their pressing is lacking compared to yesteryear, which will most likely cost them against a Bayern team which seems to peak at the most important time of the season.

and the TaxDodger

latest reports saying his lawyers are offering a deal (one year probation and a high fine)

Lets all hope he gets banged up and tastes plenty of German sausage during his stay!

That said, it will be City's fault if he did!
