Enjoyable weekend in Dortmund (except for the fight in the first pub !). I knew Heynckes would change the team but was surprised to see how much !
Dortmund rested a few but our second string kept them fairly quiet even when down to 10 men, with the full team out we would have beaten them I reckon. Both sides can be satisfied with the draw.

Your from Hildesheim and Bayern München Fan
Isnt it the same distance like London-Manchester?

Schalke 1-2 VfB Stuttgart
Greuther Fürth 1-2 SC Freiburg
Werder Bremen 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

Kevin de Bruyne with his goal saved Bremen from relegation.
And we have a final for the CL qualification in the last match: SC Freiburg - Schalke 04

4. Schalke 04 +7 52

5. SC Freiburg +6 51
6. Eintracht Frankfurt +3 50

at the bottom all teams had a horrible day
TSG Hoffenheim 1-4 Hamburger SV
Fortuna Düsseldorf 1-2 1. FC Nürnberg
Bayern München 3-0 FC Augsburg

15. Fortuna Düsseldorf -15 30

16. FC Augsburg -20 30

17. TSG Hoffenheim -26 28

The 15th is saved, 16th goes into the play-offs. Hoffenheim (away at Dortmund) only with a small chance. Augsburg plays Fürth, Düsseldorf away at Hannover

The long-time Bundesliga clubs Karlsruher SC and Arminia Bielefeld had at least managed the return to Bundesliga 2

Come on Freiburg next week
What a Champs league away day that would be for me, as my brother is a Freiburg season ticket holder

Lool that Freiburg-Schalke game will be one hell of a game. How is Freiburg's home record Ruhr? You think Schalke can get a win there?

It would be better for German football if Schalke won. They can actually become a very strong team. With Champions League football and the right signings, plus their young players getting older and better they could realistically make a semi final.

their home record is not that good: 8-4-4. A draw would be enough for us. Can´t see Frankfurt scoring five in their match. But i have very dark memories about that kind of matches. Anyway, Freiburg is losing key players at the end of the season. Don´t think, they would make the CL qualification (same as Mönchengladbach last year)

It was typically Schalke yesterday

Yes we supposed to play Wigan next year in Euroleague, but stop

we still got the chance for a CL Qualifying spot with a point or win in Freiburg

Wigan can wait ;o)

Yesterday before the watching the final on tv, I went down to Aachen too see them against Stuttgart II. They won 4:2 and got relegated. I was a bit confused as nobody was really crying or even looked that sad. What's been said in German papers (if anything)?
