If we play to our full capabilities we will cruise to a convincing win.
If we play reasonably well we will still win.
If we play below average then we may have problems.
Simples!
Personally I think we will win by 2 or 3 goals.

Pep Guardiola on this City side: “The most incredible thing was we beat Tottenham at home after the Champions League defeat. They showed me the character and the personality that they want to win.”

PEP Yeah 90+ points is a must. Next season, Chelsea is getting better, Tottenham. But then you are 25 points ahead of United, they have to get better. The other people have to meet it. 100 points last season, the other teams if they want to compete have to equal this.

Pep Guardiola on the domestic treble: “I’m not thinking too much about that, I’m really concerned about this game against Burnley. I’m just focused on that, especially right now. I will analyse how many titles at the end of the season.”

Pep Guardiola on why John Stones missed @ManUtd: “It was a decision based on what I saw. Nico was incredible. I try to involve everybody but who we need for specific games in defence. I thought between Vinny and Nico, the personality to play in Old Trafford.”

“With long balls, I prefer Nico and Vinny but we had to use more of a gap, for example against Chelsea, John Stones is an incredible player to read that. When teams play high, I play Leroy. It depends on what I see in training sessions.”

PEP (On scoring 157 goals) I love to score a lot of goals and respect this game. I want to attack every game. I am so proud. Everyone was involved. Sergio and Gabriel score a lot, the wingers a lot. I am very pleased.

Pep Guardiola on the mentality of the City squad: “Choose the right guy. We ask Txiki how they are as a person. The mentality of players, whether they are competitive. We don’t have two or three players that are £100m, we have a deep squad with a lot of quality.”

“After big disappointments, they showed it last season when we lost against Liverpool and here against United, after we went to Tottenham away and won. Many times they showed me they tried and I’m pretty sure we’re going to do it again.”

they may be feeling some pressure, but i am firmly believing their self belief and coaching will shine through, and they will go through the gears and win. i think even the city players were looking to the spurs and utd games as a potential cock-up. with those out of the way it may be a new (or early season) city of shock and awe we see these last 3 games.
As the saying goes its a funny old game and things can and do go wrong. But in this case I can't see anything less than 100% effort from our guys from the first whistle. No matter how much this lot want to slow the game down from the off they will have to defend deep and hard for most of the game. Some of them mentally are probably at 95% since the other night at Chelsea and while they would like to beat us are they really prepared to go the extra mile? They are way below us in skill terms and unless we make some terrible mistakes at the back we should win this by 2 or 3 goals. The only way the pain of losing to Spurs can be erased fully is for our boys to win the next three games that hunger and desire will be real and hard to resist on Sunday. The game against Brighton worries me if they still need something but Burnley and Leicester will not live with our passion and barring disaster we will win.

I remember thinking, sitting at the kitchen table at Ewing Towers, that I might just have a sneaky peak at the MDC. It was only seven minutes after kick off but I thought we might have just, maybe . . . . . . . . . . . I ended up texting my lad and saying we've only had seven minutes and we're three up!! And then it pissed down and I thought of the Luton game. Burnley fans were leaving in droves well before halftime. I think the second half was drawn 1-1 but we won the first half five or six to nowt.
Was in the home end for that one. The Burnley fans mostly fucked off at 3-0. The game really should have been called off at halftime with the amount of standing water on the pitch, I think the referee said the scoreline was the only reason he didn't call it off.

Sean Dyche on facing City: "They are a top side but they have got the demand of going to win the title. We have a different demand; to play well and see the season out in a proper fashion. You can't relax against City but I think there is that bit of freedom.”

Burnley have reported no new injury concerns and could name the same team for a fourth straight match.

Peter Crouch, Steven Defour and Aaron Lennon remain out, while Phil Bardsley is doubtful with a gashed leg that has sidelined him for the last three games.

Manchester City will assess Fernandinho, who was forced off against Manchester United with a knee problem.

City will hope that fellow midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, who suffered a knock in Wednesday's derby, is available.

Kevin de Bruyne remains out with a muscle injury.
