Burnley Vs City Post Match Thread

Firstly, well done Burnley. Well done lads. Brilliant.

As for us.

Pathetic.

Way too casual and deservedly got beat.

Title gone. Can't see us going through againt Barca either.

Stick or twist?

Twist if Pep is available otherwise we should stick in my opinion.

Wish to fuck I hadn't watched that. Got a hotel full of Utd/Liverpool and Everton fans who are fucking buzzing and the bride is a Burnley fan!!
Think my tripadvisor ratings gonna suffer somewhat tonight.

That wasn't about the individual players or the tactics, that was 100% about a gutless lack of desire, energy and tempo. The players should be fucking ashamed of themselves. It looks like we need to sack Pellers now just to hope the new manager bonus can give us enough fucking desire to stumble to the end of the season, then a whole lot of these players need fucking off. Yaya first out the door, if we can convince him to move that far. Fucking shocking lack of hunger

Says it all.

Maybe some of our so called fans might fuck off aswell
Yes, starting with the twatty-bollocked bastard fuckwit **** muppet types who come on here with smartarse "dry your fannies" comments every time we produce a performance that is piss poor.
This has been coming for a while. failing to beat relegation threatened Burnley at home, throwing away a two-goal lead against Sunderland at home but grabbing a late winner, struggling against Championship Wednesday in the cup, going out of the cup at home to Championship Boro. Failing to beat Everton who've been shite in the league for three months.
This has been coming, and the reason it arrived rather than being averted is because the clowns running the club (others as well as MP) are as fucking deluded as the fans who won't offer criticism however badly we perform.
At least the traffic wasn't too bad.

Edit: Forgot about failing to beat Hull.

The team performance was appalling, but as someone who doesn't have the "loyalty" points to get a ticket for Burnley away, can I also say that those "loyal" fans were just as bad- the support for the team was abysmal! Must have heard the City fans twice all game!
Could hear them where I was stood.

Is that a serous quote, why worry about Weds we are not on the same playing field, today was about not giving a fuck.
But the fact is we are on the same playing field and being the mad deluded optimistic fool that I am, I've got a sneaky feeling kun is going to fire us into next round.
Barca will score in the first ten mins and it will be over
Even if Barcelona score after 10 mins it changes nothing.
We still need two goals any way so it'll just mean extra time.

Been average at best all season.

Put it down to the title win last season and the players not wanting to do what's required anymore combined with the fact that MP is certainly not the man to take us forward from next year on.

We may have to go backwards for a while before we go forward but at least we know we can be competitive and we will be again but we need to revamp our whole approach to Europe if we are going to be successful.

I must have been watching a different game as I thought Navas was our best player today, that isn't saying much I agree.
