I wonder for how many years people will be using the 4 goals away at Tottenham as a reference point.

By now it is OBVIOUS some people here just flat-out dislike Dzeko, mostly for non-football reasons (i.e. people saying he had a BAD game today).

We played 3 games, and have 7 points.

Dzeko has 2 goals in 3 games, one an equalizer and the other one for the lead today (and you could argue he played a great part in Skrtel's mistake turned in by Tevez)

You can dislike him all you want, but No Dzeko - and we could have 3 points (3 ties) in 3 games instead of 7.

So - can we cut the lad a fucking break??

Just saying - people need to get their head out their ass - you can dislike the player, but please have some sense and at least save it for when he struggles.

My god. Did you see him play today? He was beyond shocking! The second goal was all Tevez.

And the 3rd goal, Dzeko blasted it wide and Tevez managed to redirect it.

Four goals away at spuds is a fantastic achievement for any player..do you not agree ??
It should be remembered just as much as the Goater Neville goal.

Yes it is a fantastic achievement and he was brilliant that day. But when is that performance going to come along again? If ever?

Edin's not a creator, he's a finisher. He's not going to do a Silva beat two men and then pass it to Tevez job, he's not going to run 30 yards, outstripping the opposition defenders and then walking round the goalkeeper to score like yer Kuns. He needs people to make goals for him, so, if people are creating chances for him then he will score goals...and he has. Some piss poor crossing today denied him a couple of tap ins after he'd made good runs.
Having said that, I'd start with Kun and Carlos every time if possible as their movement is better.

Džeko had an all round good game yesterday. He made mistakes and isn't playing with confidence. But the biggest noises in the ground apart from the goals came when Edin miscontrolled it, which is a fucking joke for me.

Support? Yeah right! People can't wait to slate him.

Vincent hasn't played well yet this season and the way he showed Johnson inside for QPR's goal was school boy stuff, yet there weren't people slamming their seats down to make a big banging noise ("look at me i can make a loud noise at the footy") and shouting "that's fucking shit Kompany" like they do when Edin merely miscontrols the ball or stands off-side.

Get behind him for fuck's sake!

And you could see him feed off those groans, he's clearly a confidence player and we need to get behind him regardless of how he's playing.

You are probably best off watching Match of the Day then. They cut out most of the bits in between the goals.
