Cardiff (FA Cup 4th Rd ) Post Match Thread

var will not make a scrap of difference. referees like mason will issue yellow cards quickly ensuring the criminal thuggery that is dished out to city players is allowed to continue.

A good performance overshadowed by a horrendous tackle on Sane and our players were continually hacked down all afternoon. That's Sterling, Sane, KDB and Gundogan all conpletely taken out in the past eight weeks and not one red has been shown.

So Mr Warnock when the boots on the other foot! You not realise you are playing in England?

Well done you for finding this.

To all those folk singing Warnocks praises before the match because of the complimentary bollocks he was spouting about City. I told you he was an arsehole.

Pep’s tactic second half really riled the cardiff fans after the game. Plus gave the BBC a non spectacle. It made the point!!

You're right, watching it I was a bit bemused but now I realise that his half time talk must have been "They're not playing football, so neither will we, keep the ball and keep safe."

It's a disgrace really especially when you think back to last season, Sterling labelled a diver which led to not getting awarded stonewall penalties. And then articles like this in May targetting City by alluding to the rest of the team being divers and not just flair players who get booted far too often:

What's it going to take before they stop playing with players health because they can't stand losing? A massive law suit for reckless endangerment aimed at the FA and their officials? We can but dream eh...

Why is everyone continuing to refer to the Sane/Bennett incident as a 'tackle'.

A tackle is an attempt to win the ball, this was not a tackle. It was a vicious assault designed to stop Sane scoring and to do maximum damage. Bennett succeeded on both counts.

I played football for many years, as I'm sure did many members of this forum and I am absolutely certain that Bennett did exactly what he intended. That he will, in all likelihood, escape punishment is a disgrace but should come as no surprise.
