It's a great situation to be in, arguing about how many 'world class' players we have! Gone are the days of Alan Kernaghan & Michael Frontzeck. And who could forget Ricky Holden? Oh.

Anyway, I reckon we have a fair few who are world class in their positions, you can't compare defenders with strikers & say so & so isn't as good because he only defends, or whatever. Joe Hart is clearly world class but I wouldn't want him playing in midfield!

I'd say we have: Hart, Kompany, Silva, Yaya, Tevez & Aguero who are absolutely top draw in their positions.

Hope we can sell him for good fee. Also hope RVP/Ibra wont come. Would like Cavani or Falcao they are very hungry for big success. RVP too but older, more injury prone, and maybe rapist too.:)

Tevez can go for 20 m pounds for me. No less. If we have no plan to change the system (which is perfect for Tevez, and not so much for Dzeko), we have to sell Dzeko too.

I would be happy to see Guidetti as a 4th striker (Agüero, Balotelli, new striker, Guidetti) and pushing Nasri little bit further up.

Sorry I read £22m on twitter (which i know is shite) , its probably BS ,

even if we try to set a value on tevez , how can we ask for anything less than £25m? Won't get a proper replacement for anything less than that

To be fair, players aren't allowed to turn down PR engagements from the club, it's part of their job.

I'm quite willing to bet that Tevez won't be here come September the 1st. All parties want the deal to happen.

no,he did'nt i agree, was just saying,mate...i think we need to get rid as soon as,he's shit on city before,he'll do it again.don't get me wrong if he stays,i'll cheer every goal he scores, just won't ever sing his name....think a lot of fans are not being so hard on him purely because we won the title.if we would'nt of won it,we'd be all jumping up and down on him now..IMO.

22M for Tevez !

How much will Dzeko cost then ?

think i posted yesterday, that i think milan would come in for dzeko, before tevez,if not both..
since read they only have one, none eu player spot left,so surely wont come in for both....think it will be dzeko.

if this happens, it means RVP would possibly be replacing Tevez. But is RVP an upgrade over Tevez, off-field behavior aside? I find it difficult to think so..

this is on ac milan online....

Tevez or Dzeko for AC Milan

Milan are reportedly taking the first steps in the market to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva this summer.

Ibrahimovic and Silva look certain to sign for Paris Saint-Germain in a reputed €62m deal and subsequently, attention has turned back to the Rossoneri and how they intend to replace them.

Rumours continue to link Adriano Galliani with a move for Carlos Tevez, who nearly joined the San Siro outfit in January and with his Manchester City teammate Edin Dzeko.

The Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Milan have maintained contact with members of Tevez’s entourage, but that where Galliani is keen to test the waters, Coach Massimiliano Allegri is pushing for an initial move on Dzeko instead.

It is understood that a club representative will be sent to Manchester on Monday to explore the options.

Meanwhile, in replacing Silva in defence, the name of Rolando has emerged as a potential target. The 26-year-old Porto man holds an EU target unlike other rumoured target Dede, and Galliani reportedly had dinner with his agent Davide Lippi, last night.

However, the club are said to be interested in knocking down the €15m valuation on the Portugal international.
