Didn't Manure pay Arse over 20mill for RVP with one year left on his contract?

LoveCity I am glad I don't have you in charge of my property negotiations (LOL).

It is silly to compare RVP to Tevez.

I am not FT I am comparing the relative worth of players in the last year of their contracts , ages , worth to the club , position , past performance etc.

Selling Tevez for 10 mill is silly IMO as was paying what we paid for RSC.

That's what I meant. It is silly to compare the relative worth of the two players. Tevez is not in RVP's class and hasn't been for a few years. Last season is proof of it (as LC has more eloquently explained).

You have just compared them in your last paragraph (LOL).

BTW I totally disagree with your comparison of class whatever you mean by that.

Give me Tevez 's history for us over RVP for the Arse and Manure anyday.

Last season proved nothing in terms of the relative " class " difference between the two you seem to think exists in proof.

The way Manure set up around RVP he should have scored 40 plus in the premier league last season.

As far as contributions in all facets of the games and minutes played Tevez was as valuable for us last season as RVP was for Manure end of story.

To say RVP has been in another league to Tevez for " a few years " is drottle as the Germans would say.

The fee for the sale of Tevez seems to be going down every time i see a new report, hope if he does go we don't sell it to those tw*ts they have taken the piss out of us for years.

The only fee that matters for any player is what we agree to.

The press don't know and even after the event they usually guess again.

When it comes to transfers to the second best supported club in Milan it seems we agree to whatever 'Uncle Fester' wants sadly.

he does seem to work some serious magic about once a year.
I gotta give him that. regardless of how much he busts his fans' balls

I bet he wishes all other clubs Milan deal with regarding transfers were as easy to manipulate as City, suprised they haven't offered 5 million euros.

He hasn't finished yet, he seems to start high but finish much lower than where he started so start at 7 -8 finish at 3-4.

Suarez is a scumbag no doubt but the media do seem to have an ABU(anyone but United) policy when it comes to character assassinations.

Suarez deserves everything he has got but our noisy neighbours from Trafford have a rapist, a drug cheat and a wife beater in their team but we never here a thing about it, in fact the wife beater was pushed for sports personality of the year and got it!

I've also failed to mention an ex manager who has been buying and selling football clubs using his son but again nothing in the media infact the channel four documentary was brushed completely under the carpet.

It's the hypocrisy that annoys people.
Spot on

Anyone else feel like we might be 'selling' Tevez (proven world class striker) to Milan for (knowing them cheap bastards) less than £10m and then Milan will try and milk us for £40m for El Shaarawy (yet to be proven)?

Crafty bastards that lot and wouldn't be the first or second time they'll have got the best end of the deal between us.

If we offload him to AC Milan that's a result as far as I am concerned. His game has declined considerably. It wasn't injury, form or disillusionment. he was giving everything as he always does, but wasn't able to get that bit of space in the penalty area to get shots away. Other City forwards struggled too, but I think in Tevez case, it's irreversible. Good midfielder though.

I think you might be right though. There could be an El Shaarawy angle to this.

but he was top scorer last season

If you believe the papers then his situation will be a lot clearer when Tevez comes back from his holiday.

In that case ship the lot of em out. If thats your argument how can you only call Carlos into it and not the lot. I think Tevez is absolutely class and still has 'it'.

TEVEZ NEWS: The scoop from Milan

Kia (Tevez's agent) met w Milan officials today to sort out an immediate transfer for Carlos. Milan are reported to be offering and expecting an acceptance of 7-8m for Tevez and he will come on 4-4.5m wages

Juve have dropped from the race as to "not get in a bidding war" though, it's expected they dropped because Carlos will only move to Milan.

Kia also offered his other client, Center Back Cleber to Milan

Where is this news that we'd accept 7-8m euros from? I can't see it on Di Marzio's page. Because I'm skeptical that we would accept under £10m.

Read from a bunch of sources and reports

to clarify, it's what Milan BELIEVE will be accepted, not that City said "this is what we'll accept"

From today's meeting

I don't care much what we sell Carlos for.

If Milan take him, along with Balo they've freed up somewhere around 300k/week for us to use on other players. Would be nice to get 10m
