CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Some people are up his arse but you can really feel Sam Lee’s frustration in his tweets today. Just going on about how the final award needs to show City were completely not guilty and aren’t just using loopholes etc.

To be fair to him he’s probably had to delete about 5 full articles he had planned for if we were banned.

Sam Lee is a smug cock & I’ve said a few times I can’t believe people get up his snide arse. He never once wrote from our perspective.

There will be no "full report narrative".

The world has made its judgement, the decision has been made, the line has been cast. There was a massive build up and anticipation, the story dominated for 48hours and the story is that City got off on a technicality, it's a disgrace, CAS are questionable and it's a bad day for football.

I think if you think any rival fan or generic pundit is going to re-focus on a second press release that involved technical details and changing their opinions on the verdict established already then you're dreaming.

Even if the full report came out and completely exonerated City, no one outside the fans would pay attention. The articles wouldn't get clicks, the Jordan's, Warnock's and Kitson's of this world would not pay attention, and will just regurgitate "time-bar, bad day for football" etc. for the next decade whenever City come up.

well, coming from one to another, you're a miserable bastard who won't let the thing play out. Given where we were Sunday night it's a quite hysterical position to take up. Once the full report is out, there will be further commentary and more importantly a reference point for the club to dissuade certain proponents of said narrative for continuing. People will believe what they want, positions are entrenched but what is publicly allowed to be talked about after that point is what is most important to the club, and what will be focused on. The social media and other fans narratives were set years ago, no outcome or attempted narrative would have changed that.

Monday was never going to give us the ammunition to lay these demons to rest, all it was able to do was save us from being annihilated. If you can't appreciate where we've come from considering the public position at 9.28am on Monday then this whole thing is beyond you.

Yes there is a lot of mileage in that. If UEFA knew there wasn't a cat in hells chance of winning then the questions have to be asked why the case was ever brought. Even worse why they had the audacity to hand down a two year ban based on flimsy evidence if it wasn't to damage our reputation.

Racist fuckers springs to mind

Nobody would have expected anything other than what has happened ,pep said he hoped but knows it won't happen, that people would stop saying bad things, the media who ran the racist hate campaign are not going to lose face and say they were wrong, the pricks are still pricks, don't expect anything different, everyone at the club knows how it is

There is a major difference to what should be happening now, compared to what happened before Mondays verdict. Previously, it was all tit-for-tat...

Media: "City are cheats"
City: "No we are not"
Media: "Yes you are"

blah, blah, blah and on it goes.

All that should have changed with the verdict. There was no more "debate" to be had. City are innocent and this should have been rammed down everyones throat with a statement on the website as soon as the verdict was announced. What did we do? "Thanks for that guys, cheers, nice one". Pathetic.

This has led to the ridiculous narrative that City are not innocent but are in fact guilty but let off on a technicality. With these absolute fuckers, it is clear it is kill or be killed situation. On Monday we could have ripped the head off the beast, what did we do? Gave them a little pat on the head and thanked them for a good game.

Those waiting for the award to clear this up are going to be disappointed. It will be carefully worded.

I was just about to question Tolmie on that as I believe the wording will not change the narrative at all. Surely if CAS have said what he is implying there is no way UEFA would agree to having the reasons published?

Look, it has played out. The entire footballing world held their breath over the weekend when it was announced the decision was coming on Monday, and then they got their explanation spoon fed to them and they've moved on from "what happened?" mode.

The full award would need to include sections on why Rick Parry was dancing naked during the CAS hearing screaming racist nursery rhymes to recapture the attention of the audience and make them pay attention again and change their minds.

I'm not hysterical, i'm not even that miserable, just resigned to the fact the club's not controlled this well and that regardless of the intricacies of why we didn't get banned, it's a huge PR defeat.

Khaldoon assured us right at the start that an independent court would find in our favour and yet throughout there were thos who assured us the we couldn't find a court which could ever be independent enough, the cartel would always get their way and that CAS would never find against a sporting organisation. Ferran assured us that the charges were simply not true but hey! UEFA must have evidence we don't know about. They didn't, Cas showed that it was independent and that its first duty was to justice. Khaldoon and Ferran had been right all along and UEFA, the cartel, the hateful 8 aren't there, plotting their next move coldly but ruthlessly. They are in complete disarray. UEFA are saying (and can do) nothing. Anyone who believes that incoherent, contradictory jibberish we got from Mourinho and Klopp was the opening shot in a fightback by the cartel is paranoid. They may have been primed by their employers but they had also been primed by their lawyers - both stressed they were not saying City were guilty and their real target was in fact UEFA and CAS. They can't push UEFA into an appeal (which would not be admitted) and their PL inquiry died a death on Monday. . It was left to the lunatic Kitson to tell us that everyone knew City were guilty and I trust the club to know the best way to handle him. But the real lesson of this week is that the law will be enforced, impartially and independently and that UEFA, the cartel and even Uncle Tom Cobley will have to obey it. And City know their rights. So let's learn the lesson of this week and trust the club - it's in safe hands.

I think you are right mate.

The only way to stop this shit is to go after them legally.

These fuckers would rather give up a Limb voluntarily, before issuing an apology.

That plonker Kitson is just a blatant liar because I quote There was no evidence to support the claims as the investigation found no evidence to indicate any funds had been partly or in whole come from Manchester City's owners fund and others were time barred with no evidence to suggest they would be any different. So this prick obviously has not read the report or just cant bring himself to admit ee were innocent.
