Marwood will be at home with his feet up after taking 3-4 weeks to negotiate the £6.2 million transfer of Sinclair.

Going purely on Mancini's determination it could be De Rossi. I would love Cavani though, we'd never miss another chance!

massively overrated is Cavani IMO just like Martinez. He plays well for a counter attacking team where as we play as the dominating team so we don't really know if he will improve us at all. If we were to sign anyone from Napoli I would have Inler or Hamsik who would suit our team a lot better. I just think for the price and wage we are going to have to pay for Cavani and then the loss we are going to have to take on Dzeko it is not really a good deal.

Yeah well that would only be possible if one of our strike was on his way out. Sadly enough that means Edin.

AC Milan is looking like shit, playing tonight in front of a half full stadium. They should bring in Balotelli to lure the spectators back to the San Siro.

Still confused by this striker thing, we have 4 of the best already, it´s our strongest position. There´s not another club in the world with the depth of strikers we have, it´s just not the position we need to strengthen.

dzeko is bobbins. lost count of the amount of chances he misses. balotelli, turns up when he can be arsed. did he play today? can turn it on aka vs germany in the euros but can also just go missing. dont trust those two

Dzeko and Balotelli are both talented players but frustratingly inconsistent. I believe the reason van Persie was near the top of Mancini's list of targets is because he only occasionally has a poor game, he is very consistent and would have suited our system. Look at his goal against Fulham for United, it was absolute world class, Dzeko missed a chance from a similar situation today that was closer to the net than van Persie's and was an easier chance to convert.

I think Mancini still wants the perfect clinical partner for Aguero and Tevez with Mario being the wildcard fourth option who can also play on the left. Seems to me that the club has tried to shift Dzeko this summer as Uli Hoeness confirmed today that the only reason Bayern didn't buy Dzeko was agent fees. The Italian clubs are just too cheap and probably want him far below his value. I could believe Mancini wants Cavani but it looks an impossible deal this summer... maybe next year it won't be. So I imagine Dzeko will stay until next summer now.

Dzeko - turned up at the last match of the season to score the equaliser that allowed us to win the league. Same again for the Southampton match last week.

Balotelli - Turned up at the last match of the season to provide the assist that allowed Sergio to score the goal that brought the League to City for the first time in 44 years.

Both have done us proud, I reckon !

sorry, but you cant just run along with that tag. yes, dzeko scored a vital goal that game, but he misses far too many chances in games. so frustrating. balotelli has huge talent but you just dont know what you're going to get. my opinion anyway.

That no longer matters. We need new toys & if we don't get them, we will scratch & scream until mummy changes her mind & if she doesn't, we will tell everyone how mean she is.
