Cavani Speculation/News 3 (or 4)

I would hope our conversation with Dzeko goes something like

We haven't received any offers from Germany but you can go to Napoli. The alternative is that you will stay here but be limited to playing in the prem league and cups because there will be no space in the CL squad.

And he replies " Thats upto you, but when my contracts up Ill be off back to Germany, thanks for the part time job on full wack ta"

Unfortunately for all the positives about Dzeko's play he couldn't trap a bag of cement and when I look at our team I am impressed with the way most of our players bring the ball under instant control (note the word most).

We broke the one of the golden rules when we signed Dzeko and that is you don't sign players during the January Transfer Window.

Because we didn't chase him all the way through the summer window that year then?

As much as people want to back track now, I doubt there was a single City supporter that didn't either want Dzeko, or thought he would be the final attacking piece that we needed. We all drooled over his youtube videos, and also through his very impressive champions league performances for Wolfsburg

I can also remember everyone creaming themselves over his debut performance which only lacked a goal after the way he began forming a partnership with Tevez.

His touch may not be the best, but his goal scoring record can't really be in doubt, he has scored some very very important goals for us during his time, and his display at Spurs is one of the best striking performances we could wish to see. Like any striker, he thrives on confidence and the fact that he rotated so often under Mancini obviously affected his form badly

If he ended up staying then I wouldn't be that disappointed, but likewise if he moves on then I would feel about the same, I just can't understand all the negativity to a player that has given us some very very special moments

Edin isn't going to Dortmund this summer unless major things turn around as lewi isn't gonna be allowed to leave for Bayern and I'm not convinced BVB are willing to pay him the wages plus fee required to get him. dzeko was always going to be the major stumbling block in this deal for Napoli

Growing more dislike for him day by day to be completely honest

You are disliking a player day by day because he is a stubling block for a Cavani deal and perhaps a Team/country that he doesn't want to play for/in ?

It gets better and better everyday on here....

Dzeko refuses...

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.sportmediaset.mediaset.it/mercato/napoli/2013/articoli/1001883/affare-cavani-dzeko-rifiuta-il-napoli-city-nei-guai.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sportmediaset.mediaset.it/me ... guai.shtml</a>

Coupled with the laziest performance I've ever seen from a City player (McMinimum and Robinho included) vs. Spurs, starting to grow resentful too.

Oh no..

Rammy its the whole thing with Napoli coupled by the way he acted and played in most games in the second half of the season looking like he couldn't be fucking arsed to do fuck all. You make too much money to be able to that ever and I don't care if the boss doesn't like you or has a shitty relationship or ur not getting enough game time. I don't wanna turn this into a dzeko thread when it isn't but he's there's a lot to more dislike about him these past few months than like.

And LC just tweeted that he's refusing to go to Napoli, shocker... Sorry but if cavani arrives he'll see next to no game time as he's not even close to being as good as aguero or cavani

No because he acted like he didn't give a shit the second half of the season coupled with this

And honestly if we don't get cavani for whatever reason I wouldn't even mind if he stayed so long as he comes in with the attitude of wanting to play

Wolfsburg fleeced us for what they could get and at the time of we bought Dzeko both club and player were struggling. Similar situation in what Napoli are doing right now. Scored a few crucial goals but not worth the fee we had paid for him.

Building up to ADL's big finale.......

Continued stalemate regarding the future of Cavani , sought by half Europe but, for now, forced to stay at Napoli. The latest offering in the City , 40 million more Dzeko has been trashed by the Bosnian, who refused transfer to the club De Laurentiis. Difficult, now, that the Citizens decide to pay the entire clause of 63 million . That is why, on the horizon, the rising price of PSG .

The proposal was one of those very interesting: the tag Dzeko more than € 40 million in exchange for Cavani . A tempting offer for De Laurentiis, who in fact was considering it carefully. The deal, however, you will not. Because the Bosnian striker has rejected the idea of moving to Naples, putting pressure on their club that now has no intention to pay € 63 million to the blues. Longer (provisionally) the City, the alternatives for Cavani , are three: Chelsea , Real Madrid and PSG . We start from the Blues, which essentially have the same problem of the former Mancini's team. Abramovich would insert Torres in business for Abbasse the cost cash, but the Spanish wants to play his chance with Mourinho and, moreover, the Naples is not so concerned as the attacker, however, it was for Dzeko. As for Real Madrid, however, everything is on standby awaiting the arrival of Ancelotti who, in truth, do not mind having in pink Higuain , offsetting possible in case of assault on Cavani. Eliminated the Real from the rat race Matador, the pole remains a single team, which is called Paris Saint-Germain . The French do not have some liquidity problems and, indeed, the arrival of Hiddink as coach of Paris could speed up the negotiations, as the Dutchman dotes on the Uruguayan. The situation, in short, is quite messy. Especially for Cavani , who from Brazil begins to express his discontent with their agents. Meanwhile, to replace the possible departure of the Matador, Napoli is thinking about Oscar Cardozo of Benfica , the great protagonist in the last season. The Paraguayan seemed a step away from Fenerbahce , but some economic problems have blocked the deal.
