Champions League Final | Ticket Criteria | SOLD OUT

Thanks and I’m now aware of this- some of it relates to his age and low points. If I know I guarantee us both tickets at £165, I’ll proceed with that option, just to watch it together.

If not, I’ll try to get one cheap one and one £465 Cat 3- or whatever that price point is to consolidate the costs.

I know people may not be sure, just looking for best guess, to hedge our bets, that’s all. Many thanks

Thanks for coming back, when you say the higher price, do you mean the £165 tickets, or higher than this? Thanks again
It’s all guess work but my guess is a lot with higher points will go for cheap tickets and the OSC have gobbled up the mid range £156 tickets already so it’ll most likely be above the £156 category you’ll be paying if you wait for it to drop

But like I said it’s guess work at this stage

i’m similar in the fact my dad is 73 and i really want to be with him to watch it

I imagine people are assuming OSC have their quota because that message clearly says they have .
Whilst the explanations given on here says that OSC had to put names and numbers of those who want the £140 tickets and nothing was confirmed (I don’t think Iv seen a message telling OSC that nothing is confirmed), That message clearly says your allocation is confirmed .. is it not just the case of you now telling 22 people that you have the tickets if they are happy to pay £140 or what ever price bracket it was ?
Not flapping just like to see some transparency and honesty.
For transparency copy of the email wording at the bottom

Basically the way a supporters club works 99.9% of the time is you request a number of tickets, City receive and confirm how many you are getting, this then automatically generates an email confirming your allocation and you go in and add the names and supporter numbers of those having the tickets.

In this case however and I assume it is due to a third party (uefa) handling the sales the process is slightly different and they want the names upfront of those wanting to proceed based on the overall costs and they will use this to negotiate a number of tickets with city. The downfall however which is causing the problems is that by opening the portal in this way as a one off generates the you have a confirmed allocation email which some branches seem to have taken as read without reading kevin parkers accompanying email so as previously stated at this point in time no branch has a confirmed allocation, that is not to say they won't get what they want just simply at this time nothing is confirmed.

Anyway as stated at the outset the wording of the email.....

Afternoon All

The latest stage of my negotiations are now completed

Whilst I do not yet know the number of tickets we will receive I do know they will all be Category 3 - £156

So, I now need Supporters Clubs to add names and numbers to The Portal for anyone who wants to purchase and is happy with Category 3

If the Supporter DOES NOT want Category 3 then please DO NOT add their name and number

Based on the number who are happy with Cat 3 I can then go back to City in the Morning and negotiate on the exact number of tickets needed

So

Please add the names and numbers by MIDNIGHT TONIGHT - I know this is a tight schedule but I am working to get the best allocation possible

Any questions then email me

How do you negotiate an allocation, in terms of what leverage does he have?

It seems very odd. It is not like he will walk away with nothing if he doesn't get enough.

I’ve got 22000 points and my son has 8500, he’s 20 years old, both on cup scheme. We could’ve applied for tickets together with the OSC, but we’re concerned we wouldn’t get tickets, or would get stung for the £450 ticket bracket hence believing best to do it on our own.
Any ideas what will be the easiest way for us to get a seat together when the access codes go live please? Many thanks in advance

It might have been covered elsewhere but I’ve not seen it mentioned if anybody knows at what stage 18-25 are going to get their access code?

However it works, as soon as you’ve got a code, yours will obviously be a very early window, I’d be on the website seeing if it’s possible to buy an 18-25 at the same time.
