I like the lad and think he can play but I think this combined with the Bony transfer mean his days are numbered. He's a real good player but probably doesn't suit our possession game, in a similar way to the way Tevez didn't once we started becoming a passing team.

I think leaving him out is probably the right decision.

I said on Sat that he should have come on ahead of Lampard, but didn't. He's not wanted and can't be relied upon. Shame as could have been a star for us.

For all his personal failings [due to his impoverished upbringing, in my view], Tevez was a worker. I'm afraid that I struggle to see the comparison, Dave.

I doubt that he would have ever been a star for us or anyone else in England, Rammy. Serie A seems the perfect fit for him.

I wish him all the best. He's obviously a talented and decent bloke. However, it's clearly arrivederci come May.

Logical I guess. He's not really a specialist in one position and hasn't played that much since his injuries. With a squad of 19 outfield players we have to go with 8 defenders, 8 midfielders and 3 forwards. Milner & Lampard have to be two of the 8 and Silva, Nasri, Yaya, the two Ferns and Navas are the obvious choices for the other 6 places.

Two years of him spending 80% of his time injured or returning to fitness from injury. Shame, he's a decent finisher. If only he wouldn't lose the ball every other time he touches it, trying to dribble through 5 defenders like he's Messi.

You definitely believe he is toast rammy?

Why the could have beens , why not he show MP what he can do in the remaining 15 games and score the goals that win us the title.

For all we know MP might only have 15 games left in charge of City.

Some pundits a bit prematurely mind you are saying if we don't win the title this year he will be gone.

I've said before that I reckon we want shut of all the Balkans, and I reckon by Sept they will all have departed.

Jovetic's injury probs were always likely to mean he'd be the one to be dumped from squad, I think he wants to be back in Italy.

Neymar, messi, ronaldo, suarez all world class strikers that don't play central how strange! I was thinking more of a free role give him the space to rjn at there poor defence!
