Dear lord, why would you stay if you were Jovetic after being left out of the CL squad?

No idea if Kolarov is staying or going [although we're allegedly in for Kurzawa].

For the umpteenth time, Edin is a special bro' along with Nasri and Toure - White European, Algerian Arab and Black African, respectively. He may get sold for footballing reasons but his longevity at the club is never a surprise to me. What never fails to surprise me is the criticism that he relentlessly receives from certain factions of our support.

I like Jovetic as a player but he doesn't fit our system of play.

In Italy he had more time to do his tricks not so much in the PL or CL

Not convinced Pellegrini sees Hart as his long term number 1 and trusts Willy

As already been said can see us playing 1 up front and I don't see Jovetic as a CF more an AM

Knock on effects of this decision :
Jovetic will be gone in the summer and will be deadwood for the rest of the season.
His fellow Balkans, Dzeko and Kolarov, will feel empathy with his "harsh" (in their eyes) treatment and their performances will reflect this in support of their teammate.
Strking/attacking options from the bench will be reduced by his exclusion.
Caballero or Boyata ahould have been axed.

A shame for stevan and the end is nigh. Gutted it hasn't worked out for him as he is a top player on his day. Obvious the amount of injuries and his small amount of outstanding moments means he's out and without question a goner in the summer.

Should have been Kolarov, we have plenty of cover at full back. Sends out the wrong message to Jovetic, or is that message being sent on purpose?

Would it have sent out a different message to Kolorav for some reason?

No problem with this decision. Jovetic has been a let down since we signed him.

Writing as been on the wall for a while, he will return to Italy where he is more suited.

Jovetic's only problem has been his injury woes. He fits in our style just fine. His injury and stop and starts that it causes, is why e looks sometimes out of place.

Again. I suggested in the summer that we should have sold him then.
