With Stones out I wouldn't be at all surprised if Pep goes with both Walker and Lewis playing in the back four, with Lewis pushing in to Midfield. Revising my team to Ederson, Lewis, Dias, Walker, Gvardiol, Rodri, Kovacic, Bernardo, Doku, Foden, Haaland

Why shouldn't we be confident ? Chelsea are mid table for a reason although they are showing a little form of late. Besides we've kept some of the worlds best strikers at bay, Raheem is hardly in that category. They might score a goal being the home team so I'm going 1-3 but wouldn't surprise me if its a bigger margin.

No chance; his kidology around Akanje and guardiol almost confirmed how we’ll set up; Kova next to rodders, concentrating on a conventional back 4…

It doesn’t always have to be the notion we now need a supporting role from the back line; anyway, Rodri can do this in his sleep, as proven countless times, it’s when, especially in Europe, we need the overload…

Chelsea will try and stretch in behind on the flanks, where they continuously expose themselves for me.

Composure and we’ll pick them off!

Neither I think.
Palmer's a good player. Nothing phenomenal, though. We got good money from Chelsea for him. No regrets, personally, and I wish him well. Just not against us.
 
What I have noticed down the years (decades), is that City players returning to their old clubs tend to have a mare or hide (Sterling - Liverpool, Nasri - Arsenal immediately spring to mind). Conversely returning players always make mischief. Even Patrick Roberts managed a goal for Celtic.

Its always the same when we play a team from the smoke, he lives in hope that one of the Shandy Drinking clubs will dent our title hopes , he is obviously doing to much "product" if he thinks a Chelsea team in transition is going to cause issues , no wonder he lost millions in the bookies as well
 
I hope our players see Chelsea as a title contender to get the motivation top dog. I’m sure Pep will.

I never take a trip to SB as an easy game. And left or right, any good result somehow lifts the spirit and confidence, no matter how poor the points were won.

I think and expect us to win. But I am not in the camp it’ll be as easy as when we play the scum at the swamp.
