Can see this being a draw tbh, which wouldn't be the worst result in the circumstances. Chelsea have virtually a fully fit squad to pick from and home advantage, plus new manager "bounce", whereas we'll be missing a few important players and have a looked a bit off the pace in pre-season. Would be absolutely delighted with a win.

Only thing that worries me is the Rodri sized hole in midfield. The community shield even with kova there we got played through easily.

Mental to me people would actually be happy with a draw, I'd be as gutted if we dropped points today as i would be against ipswich at home next week.

They've got a new manager that hasn't had anywhere near enough time to pick the players he actually wants from a squad that's almost double the usual size and they"ve got to learn how to be a pep imitation side, now is the best time to play them as you'd expect they'll improve in time.

we've got our own fitness concerns but that won't be an issue if we get the game won within 70 minutes before players tire.

We aren't going to win the title if we're expecting to drop points every time Rodri isn't starting. Expect a lot of goals, they'll make costly mistakes and we will be wide open in midfield to their pace which they'll take full advantage of. 5-3 City with a lot of questions to be asked on both sides.

Bang on. And it was still the reason we also lost the Cup Final, Kovacic couldn't help a knackered Rodri with the running.

If Kovacic plays as the six like he did at Arsenal last season, with Rico alongside him, they are going to run right off the back of us.
