Chris Bailey - a disgrace!

So robinho really looks like he is working hard for the team then? He looks really intersted and looks like he wants to be a city player yeah? I dont think so.

I very rarely slag off players but he starting to annoy me now week in week out. Im not bothered about the tracking back because thats not his role but for fuck sake you would expect him to get a few more shots on target? trouble the keeper a bit more?

No one can justify his performances knowing his ability and what he can do. He looks like a player that knows he is off in the summer.

5 is about right, we wouldn't have missed his contribution yesterday. He ran a bit more than usual yesterday, though to little effect. It is quite comical to suggest he ran himself into the ground.

It's a lack of confidence plus he is carrying an injury. But yes, if we boo him, he'll definitely be thinking of pissing off in the Summer.

Like you say, it's not his job to track back and to be honest, his tackles are shit anyway. We didn't sign him for that though and once he regains some confidence, we'll be reminded once again why we all went nuts just past midnight one fine transfer day.

Robinho is lacking confidence since around December time when off-field stuff started to affect him. Before that he was great and will be again, given the chance, so give the lad a break and stop moaning. He's still our top scorer FFS and his price tag is irrelevant.

How long is he gonna need though. Like ive said we all know what he is capable of but the expectation comes with the reputation and the price tag. He isnt living up to it and i think alot of city fans want to know why. If he doesnt have confidence now why is he going to have it next season?? The lad for me doesnt have his heart in it. Thats just my opinion

Because confidence comes and goes. Robinho is no different. Last season everyone wanted rid of Ireland. More recently it has been Richards and Dunne. Some players never play well like Ben Haim or try but just aren't good enough (Garrido and Gelson) but Robinho is class. We've seen it before and we will see it again next season when our squad will be a lot stronger.

In the meantime if you want to hound him out that's up to you.

No ovcourse i don't im not part of the muppet brigade that calls for Hughes head when we get beat or sell a player because he had a bad game. I guess i expected to see more of from him this season. Its fustrating to watch when you know what he can do. I hope he proves me wrong and becomes a City legend.

Got anything to back this injury claim up?

How the fook does Robinho warrant a mark of five in his MEN ratings today.

I'm starting to become right pissed off at the amount of people who have it in for Robbie in recent weeks and there now appears to be a real agenda to force this boy out.

People need to start asking themselves why the 'buzz' word is to stick the knife into him at every opportunity.

Yesterday, I really felt for him, he ran himself into the ground and tracked back and covered Zab time and again.

It's clear he was desperate to get on the scoresheet and I would suggest he is trying TOO hard at the mo.

Chris Bailey and other papers this morn again questioned his desire, one thing definitely on show on Sunday.

This is a young kid who has scored 12 goals in his first season - three goals behind Ronaldo (who scored six in his first year) in the most physical league in the world.

Robbie doesn't exactly possess the frame (yet) to totally compete and make the progression he wants more than anyone else.

The only thing which I can see being thrown at him is his price tag - something out of his control - as are his wages. Nobody can say he hasn't proved a better buy than Berbatov.

I finally cracked yesterday when a guy behind spent the entire game laying in to him - telling him he was shit ' the worst player ever to pull on a blue shirt'

Anyone who thinks the fans of Manure, Chelsea, Liverpool, media, are slagging him off because they can see he is holding poor old City back and just want the best for us are deluded.

It is done because Robbie being at City has put noses out of joint and he reprsents our challenge to the old guard.

Now I fear a significant minority of blues are also deluded.

Ask themselves how we will be perceived by others (included those in media who already take delight in doing us down) if Robbie is forced out - and to other players we are trying to sign.

Little old City, not big enough to keep a player like Robinho etc etc.

I told him to shut it and realise how lucky he was to see such a world class talent in a City shirt - Brazil's number ten - and how he'd rather have Ricky Holden running down the wing like the good old days.

Imagine what Robbie will be like when he has seriously good players around him.

In a Manure, or any other top four team, he'd have had 20 goals already.

All I hope is my fellow blues will put an arm around this kid, before it's too late to realise how much of a good thing we were actually on to.

100% Spot on, fucking superb post!

City arent allowed a player of Robs quality and it's pissed the mongs off big time, tragedy is that they've actually managed to turn a lot of blues against Robinho by simply lying about him!

The booing nobs will be happy when he packs is bags and heads for warmer climates. And his friends ring to ask him about Manchester City and he says "the fans are unforgiving and they shouldn't consider it", they can all have a good old boo about the quality of players we ARE NOT attracting.

The booing nobs wont be happy until we're back in the championship, they'd fucking love that cos it'd show how hardcore, loyal and special they are! Tragic, fucking tragic.
