City charged by the FA following the Villa match (22nd May 2022)

87,000 people watched the England Women become European Champions on their home turf with an extra time winner.

And somehow all magically remained in their seats. So... that's all bullshit.
I'm not arsed about you your stats or your "bullshit".
Now carry on wiping your keyboard

What’s the punishment for persistent pitch invasion? As long as it’s not point deduction it’s fine, making it a point deduction is so wrong in many ways! Say if there is another pitch invasion points will be deducted anyone can get a ticket a now city fan!

That’s why I believe the worse punishment will be a part of the ground closed..
99% of people on the pitch only went on because someone else went on first. It only took hold because of the sheer number of people involved and then stewards/police were helpless.

The club will make examples of a few people (in this case those that snapped the goals) and issue significant bans.

The threat will then be high enough so that the majority of people won't go on the pitch or be much slower to do so in future - lower numbers mean it'll be over before it starts and those that do run on will be dragged off straight away and issued with a ban.

It's a cultural group mentality thing - once it stops becoming something that's seen as acceptable by the majority it will be consigned to history.

No we didn’t. There was no drama or excitement watching idiots jumping around the pitch & surrounding opposition players. It’s pathetic; illegal & inconveniences 45,000 other fans.
By the time the trophy was presented I was out of the stadium and watched it sat in the Grey Horse, all the way from Devon hotel paid for the the selfish 3 thousand spoil the day.
Sorry but hope City get punished.

to be fair, as soon as the game finished, the stewards who are ther to stop it, ran away from the sides asap, city know what could happen and didnt have enough people/ stewards and police to stop it, this will be a warning that if it happens again, closed ground, points taken away [ just enough for 2nd team to win it] of god forbid fencing

Someone ran on the pitch and got the game stopped in the England women’s quarter final against Italy.

That’s almost the same amount of City fans who were threatening or violent on the final day.

Can’t really argue about the punishment, but it still bugs me that Liverpool fans did much worse to our team bus and our players’ min sets by throwing missiles a few year ago, and got no punishment from the FA
