So we are punished for a pitch invasion, fair enough if them are the rules.

What punishment did utd get for their fans invading their pitch and getting their game vs Liverpool postponed? ?

That little incident seemed to have been swept under the carpet by the PL?

Exactly but unlike dippers; Barca & rags etc we’ve got to accept that we get hounded for everything by FA PL & UEFA.

Points deductions are nowhere near specified in the FA Official rulebook for 20E, it will not happen.

Fine as large as 300K per infringement and full stadium suspension.

Sporting results cannot be returned by non sporting actions. It's irrelevant to the cause and effect.

I know its a tongue in cheek remark, but don`t be surprised to find some form of deterrent employed by City. Either netting all the way around ... or a moat. ;)

By the time the trophy was presented I was out of the stadium and watched it sat in the Grey Horse, all the way from Devon hotel paid for the the selfish 3 thousand spoil the day.
Sorry but hope City get punished.

Did it really spoil your day?
It was fucking inevitable it was going to happen if we won the game. Nothing or nobody was going to stop it and regardless of the rights and wrongs it's not really worth fretting about and it certainly shouldn't have prevented you enjoying another amazing finish to the season by this wonderful team of ours.

The club won't fight the charge and will actually take the complete opposite approach and support it.

We'll receive a pretty insignificant punishment but with the threat of a more significant punishment if it happens again. The club will then put out a statement accepting the charge and use it to try and prevent future pitch invasions.

And it will be a very sensible approach.

Trouble is- the threat of serious reprisals if it continues to happen - will go over the head of those adamant that pitch invasions are all part of the drama. And we’ll get points deducted eventually

Getting games postponed is fine though, yeah?

Should be our defence. Ask what punishment other clubs have previously had and also how getting a game postponed through poor security is not worse as not seen Rags charged or fined yet for it

I am in full support of the pitch invasion, it is all about emotions, last game of the season winning the league in that fashion, bit disappointing that not all celebrated , but even that had a reason, lets face it we got fined because SKY could not fit it into their time spot, the last thing they wanted was scenes of 1,000`s of jubilant City fans going all round the world.

But they are against the rules- like it or not. And as such they’ll take great pleasure in moving towards points deduction - the rules will be changed to allow them to do this. Only way to stop us!!

Irony is - it will be our own fans that cause our downfall

What’s the punishment for persistent pitch invasion? As long as it’s not point deduction it’s fine, making it a point deduction is so wrong in many ways! Say if there is another pitch invasion points will be deducted anyone can get a ticket a now city fan!

That’s why I believe the worse punishment will be a part of the ground closed..
