ordered my tickets this morning. Also expecting to be up in the gods, but at least I will be with all the other fellow blues. Does anyone have an idea how many tickets are sold? I meant to ask this morning when I bought mine, but forgot

Arriving Tuesday 3pm ish and leaving Thursday 1pm so still have time for 15 minutes sightseeing on Thursday am. Is this the sort of area we are looking at for the beach party? Please no-one take this as THE venue until it has been confirmed, I'm just trying to get an idea. Cheers
Also for those around on Tuesday night, we could do with sorting out a venue, as being unfamiliar I'm in need of guidance.

No the venue is further south than that marker... if you look down towards carrer del mar it's going to be the stretch of beach between the end of carrer del mar and carrer del l'almiral aixada.

For those getting in on Tuesday night may I suggest Bar Manchester off the Ramblas...

So pretty much right outside the Clinic Barceloneta?

We arrive Tuesday lunch, and leave Friday night. we'll be on Barcelonata beach all four days I think

If you look from the bottom of Ramblas towards the port/sea go to the left around the quay and eventually you come to a nice beach and there is a very handy Spar right on the corner.

Yes, it's called Barceloneta beach... it's where we are meeting. There are several bars literally on the beach and me and patrick (an expat who lives about half an hour up the coast) are swinging by tomorrow afternoon to work out which one should be the "official" city bar. We're hoping to swing a discount and set up some music for a bit of a city sing song. Patrick is a professional musician and has written some City songs as part of an album he's working on.

My flight doesn't land until 4pm so if you guys will still be there later then I will make the trek to the beach to enjoy the festivities! Game ko is 10pm so suspect guys will leave beach at 8ish??
