Forgive my ignorance. If you use the ticket exchange, can your ticket only be bought by fellow City fans buying through the City website or are their chances that the seat will end up on a third party seller site?While the club would undoubtedly love everyone to use TX as they'd benefit financially, I can tell you they're happy enough as long as the tickets are used.
Khaldoon and I know that we will not get everything right all the time. As we continue on this journey I would ask you to please always bear with us and please be assured that, even when we stumble, we will try to remain true to our values and to make you proud of what we do and how we do it on your behalf.
Maybe he doesn't know the extent of it. He will get one story from the club. If he doesn't know the full extent, he will be asking some serious questions after last night.I'm struggling to understand how he can be this tone deaf, people genuinely struggling to pay bills and the match prices keep going up. The prerequisite for "understanding" isn't screwing as much out of the fan base as possible.

Interesting what Pep said yesterday - basically the club will speak to the fans and each put their perspectives and hopefully come to an agreement. If the protests continue because the club ignore this, he will be asked at every press conference. That in itself will create internal pressures within the club.Maybe you are right mate, but I reckon he is just looking after the business and he's saying the right things.
Up to him to remove my cynicism or expose fans naivety to what's going on.
We had a family of three - 1 adult, two children sat next to us yesterday - in what are normally adult season ticket seats. - So occasionally 2 juniors do get a chance - their favourite players were Doku and Ederson and they clearly make good use of the club shop!If I return my ticket as an OAP the Club will sell it as an Adult and will not give an OAP or Junior the chance to purchase. Also if you return an Adult ticket, quite rightly you will only get the proportion you paid on your ST. But the Club will then sell that way and above the price. It's not surprising that ST holders who cannot attend the top fixtures chose to sell their tickets by other means.

Correct. Or maybe Hoeness is only doing it so they avoid paying more tax. What with his track record and all that!Even crooks like Uli Hoeneß understand this;
‘We could charge more than €120 per season ticket. If we charge €350 per season ticket we would get €2m extra, but what does that mean for us? The difference for a fan between €120 and €350 is enormous and we do not believe that fans are like cows, which are milked. Football has to be for everyone. That is the biggest difference between us and England’.
TrueA Supporters’ Number is free and takes a couple of minutes to get. People who won’t get a Supporters Number often create more hassle than it’s worth.
In theory they can be bought by anyone meeting the criteria for that particular game (membership, previous history, etc). However many of us (well me at least) believe some are bought by touts/resellers with multiple memberships who then sell at inflated prices AND/OR the club who resell as some form of “hospitality” (eg free programme and a pie) at vastly inflated prices.Forgive my ignorance. Probably NDA'dAny white smoke from this evenings meeting?
What a good idea Alex. When I stood for election to City Matters, I would have loved to take part in a hustings and get my points across. I do think 20 mins each is way too long - maybe 5 mins on how and why the candidates became City fans and then another 5 on how they would approach the role?A few months ago, the Club advertised for applications to City Matters. As I understand it, the voting window will be opening soon. Despite my own public reservations around the governance of City Matters, the group is constituted by the Premier League Fan Engagement Standard and it's important that we elect strong candidates.
One of my own reflections from previous City Matters elections, including my own in late 2020, is that there is only a limited amount of information on offer to voting supporters. As such, I have organised a hustings session with this year's candidates. My hope is that this will both give the candidates a platform to speak with a broad audience, and also allow the wider supporter base to get to know them a little better before casting their ballot.
The session is scheduled to take place from 5:30pm on Monday. There are ten candidates in total, and each will have about twenty minutes to speak. That means that the session may go on for some time. There should be some time for audience questions. I've included the MS Teams link below for those interested.
By way of reminder, this year there are five categories up for election: Under 25, Families, Women's, Asian and Minority Ethnic, and Black and Minority Ethnic.
