I’d imagine if you could prove your work shift was set in stone like a member of the emergency services for example you could get oneIs it true that the only exemptions are medical?

I am assuming it’s on the basis that both of those clubs will easily sell out their allocation and many will look to get tickets in the home end.
If we were playing Fulham, Bournemouth, Palace, Brentford or Wolves you’d be able to buy tickets without the history.
How can the club win fans say the want stricter criteria to stop away fans buying tickets for big game. Also fans we want new citizens cards holder to be able to buy tickets for big games for the first timeWhat is the point of City fans buying Citizen cards if they can’t buy tickets for home matches due to stricter ticket sales criteria?
If new citizen card holders could buy tickets, it means there’s less chance of away fans being in the home ends a those seats would be bought by City fans.
This stricter ticket criteria was brought in by the club after complaints from the fans about away fans in the City home ends in the CL games.
Yet away fans can still buy tickets online in the City home ends from the clubs 9 official ticket touting club partners.
It’s yet another fuck up up by the people running the club and selling tickets.
What’s going to happen when there are an extra 8000 seats to sell and fill next year?
How do you know that.
But how do they really know they are new city fans and not Leeds or Sunderland fansNew City fans who have bought citizen cards won’t have any match criteria history, so the club should be making exceptions for them to buy tickets. They know exactly who those City fans are who have bought new citizen cards. Or are the club too concerned about ticket touts buying Citizen cards to buy match tickets and to sell them on?
A mate was told he will be exempted if he doesn’t reach ten Prem games attended. He gets stationed abroad working for the Country. He’s still trying to make the 10 games in person though. How do you know that.
But how do they really know they are new city fans and not Leeds or Sunderland fans
Because a blanket rule on everyone without exception would / could lead to very negative publicity and maybe even a legal challenge. How do you know that.
But they will buy tickets for the less glamorous games like Bournemouth,Fulham, palace wolves etc at home. Clubs that will bring a big away following well then city will want previous purchase history. They won’t.
How does the club attract new and genuine City fans if they can’t buy tickets because they have no previous match ticket criteria? We have 8000 extra seats to fill this season.
Selling tickets on official club ticket touting websites is much more of a risk of selling home tickets to away fans. What are the checks on those websites? The club keeps on selling tickets on those websites knowing the risk of away fans getting tickets in the home ends, yet the club wants new Citizen card holders who pay for their new Citizen cards to have previous match criteria to buy tickets. It really is a mess with no clear solution or outcome.
There are so many mixed messages from the club. I know of nobody that has so far been given an exemption albeit a poster on here claimed he was told only medical reasons would be considered. Its a shite rule and nobody can even give a coherent reason why it has been introduced. If we cant attend our seats are sold on the exchange. Every time.Because a blanket rule on everyone without exception would / could lead to very negative publicity and maybe even a legal challenge.
Until it is!Since facial recognition isn't being used for fans it's not an issue.

Yes I understand the logic for adults, although personally I doubt it would be a major issue for either of those clubs. But I’m talking about kids memberships, surely they should be exempt from the purchase history requirement? I cant see us being overrun with mini-Mackems!I am assuming it’s on the basis that both of those clubs will easily sell out their allocation and many will look to get tickets in the home end.
