City Matters thread

What does that mean though? 94% of season ticket holders had attended 5 matches or more by Christmas or 94% of season ticket holders might reach the 10 match threshold? The two are very different.

Are they? Can't see what odds either way of reading that? I'm actually surprised it's that high TBH.

What does scrutinise the exemption process mean. What is the exemption criteria? Thanks.

I thought this was already known and communicated by the club? Medical issues, hospital stays etc. It's an individual case by case scenario but you do have to talk to the club to let them know.

So we are now at the point where we have had 10 home games, and 94% of season ticket holders have already gone in person to 10 games, so have met the clubs policy

So they are in the main basing exemptions based on equality act, with main protected characteristics being disability and pregnancy
Each case is being looked at individually with a system in place to ensure a consistent and fair decision making process

The decision making is what CM have been pressing the club on

I'm sorry Lee. I find that 'fact' simply unbelievable. 94% of season ticket holders have gone to every home game? I could believe that 94% have gone to at least 50% but not what the club have told you. We must have the most diligent season ticket holders in the PL. Based on what you have said I can see no circumstance that they will bin this as a policy and I assume you and the rest of CM are no longer pushing for it to be binned.

Worth just pointing out that everyone got an attendance mark for the Spurs opening game, due to the access issues
I believe this was asked in the past,is it possible for fans to find out their attendance record so there are no nasty shocks between actual and the club's record?

As @Saddleworth2 alludes too, there could be anomalies especially with people who transferred tickets or put them on the exchange getting an "attendance" mark for Spurs. Does that mean they have an in person attendance mark, and where can this be checked? They have brought in a system to monitor attendance which the fans themselves can't monitor.

It was a joke the way they have been doing it - but where there is a will there is a way. We should not be pushed into a corner to find ways to meet this criteria especially as they mess about with dates and times. My lad is off to uni in September and guaranteed he won't get an exemption and they'll probably remove his ticket or move him to a flexi or whatever crap they call it.

It's worth checking it out mate. We had to escalate as my lad came to Everton game and they had him as a no show

My mum has been severely ill over the course of this season. I have been open and transparent about her lack of attendance with the club and the fact I have listed or reused her ticket.
The club have been fantastic and supportive in their support twds my mum and have said that she will not lose her season ticket. Honesty is the best policy and I have not had to go into any details about specific illness' etc so credit the club and disability access team where it is due

Lee - we've had 12 home games. So, are we saying 94% have attended at least 10 out 12, or are we saying that 94% have attended 6 out of 12 so on course for 10 in the season....

Like others, this seems a high proportion to me given the level of issues that people have reported about illness etc...

Afternoon, please accept my apologies
I have inadvertently conflated the in game policy and the utilisation polixy
It’s the utilisation that I have quoted

Full info will follow in the full minutes when published

I'd presume that people who have asked for and got an exemption have them down on their record as having attended.

One thing I would like raised by City matters is the increasing unavailability of Car Parking for matches. Wolves, Newcastle and now Nottingham Forest. Drive over 200 miles to get to a match and you can no longer book parking in a club car park. Just makes the personal attendance more difficult for those that travel a distance.
I suspect that priority is being given to Coop Live but could @CityMatters-LeeB raise it and get clarification please.
