The SPL doesn;t come into it, because there's only 2 teams in that, but Serie A is, or certainly was one of Europe's top Leagues. The Premier league is above all else an international League
Mourinho is an exceptional manager and tbf so is Hiddink. How exactly did Capello cope with his first real test???
The British game is completely different to the Italian or Spanish game, and if you can't see that, then you are being deliberately obtuse.
Look at the Spurs game last season at home. Do you think any manager with a high knowledge of the British game would have played the tactics Mancini played?
As said above, it works both ways very few British managers could do it abroad, as I said Ferguson would never have been as successful if he'd left Aberdeen to go to Madrid/Milan etc.
