City TV - Next Season

We promised you magic next season, and we’ve started with your Membership card. It will do a lot more than get you into the stadium on match days.Using just your clever card and a phone or web cam, you will be able to watch videos and see 3D images of your favourite players. Even better, one lucky member will discover that their card carries a Willy Wonka style golden ticket. It could be you. Your clever card’s secret powers come courtesy of the big letter (that’s an augmented reality marker), the mosaic grid (that’s a QR code) and an internal RFID chip. All sound a bit technical? Don’t worry, seeing is believing, and over the course of the season you'll discover a whole host of cool things to see and do.More information on how to use your clever card will be available in July when you receive your card.

This is from the OS, So we should find out what there doing in july. Didn't the club say they would do all this last summer?

Pay money to watch reserve games? No thank you, I can watch EPL games live, free and legal on my TV at home on CCTV and BTV channels.

Why should I pay?

Dont pay then, its impossible to stream reseves/academy games illegally which is why many would be willing to pay to stream them online

I don't stream games illegally, I watch them on TV at home which Chinese TV companies pay for and broadcast free to people.

Reserve/academy games? I wouldn't cross the road to watch them or even switch tv channels never mind pay for them.

I'm not interested in seeing some no hopers who are probably never going to play in the EPL just because they wear a City shirt. I'm a fan of the Champions and the winners, not the others.

The website says that City TV is also being transformed into a scheduled online TV channel with exclusive programming, the latest goals, player interviews and video archive on demand.

So, whilst it suggests you won't be able to see live matches... let's all just wait and see what it entails, what the cost will be (if any), when it will be available and what content it contains...

...Too many people on here getting hot under the collar about precisiely nothing at the moment...

Well i think you belong just outside Manchester supporting the other team, sounds like you have just jumped on the bandwagon mate get a GRIP!!! the academy will the furture of are club and with it being one of the best places in Europe I want to see all the furture talent coming up. We are LOUD, PROUD AND LOYAL and follow are team though thick and thin and get behind anyone who plays on the blue shirt.
