City v Arsenal post match discussion

Taking off Dzeko was a mistake, he was our best player, I'm not sure what the hell Mancini is playing at.

Gooners deserved a point but 60/40 possession to arsenal in second half sums out our performance.sinclair was our only positive in the first half and taking him out at half time was beyond me.

It is clear we arent in form.

We could only beat Southampton and QPR in the season and even in those matches there was a time when they came back into the match in second half.

Pool away, Stoke away, Madrid away, Arsenal home: our game, tactic did not work.
Missed chances, bad defensive mistakes, we rarely dominated the midfield.

Really fear from Fulham away fixture. If we dont improve a lot that could be another draw easily.

We need to go back to basics. Why can i see that the team that was picked first half would struggle. yes we were leading, but I said the moment I saw the team that midfield would struggle as Arsenal was gonna crowd the midfield and keep the ball.

I hate seeing yaya so deep, play the man in his best position.

You still think Garcia is the answer?

I've never said he was. WTF are you on about?

"In a months time I expect him to be running the show in the Prem" etc.

I'd just come from the Garcia thread mate and saw you post this about him. Made me think you thought he would be a good player for us, improvement on last season etc.

I refer back to my earlier response to both of you. Really lads, let's do more than react.

Arsenal will be delighted with that point, but to be honest we should be too. First half was all theirs, but felt a lot more comfortable in the second half...until the goal that is. Still havent got out of the blocks after 5 games and that is a concern.
You see it like me, mate.

Agreed .....

neither side really deserved to lose ....

that's probably the best side Arsenal have had for some time , and they came to play ..... they could easily have lost the game when Aguero fluffed that late chance , but equally they might have scored more than they did.
