What gets me is how obvious it was before the game. Its just so so frustrating.

Jovetic should have started instead of Negredo. Rodwell should have started instead of Dzeko. Strength in midfield, rely on Jovetic, Toure to score.

So so obvious and yet MP didnt do anything about it!!!!!!!!! I just dont get it.

I did, doesnt mean anything. They played 5 IN MIDFIELD, it doesnt matter who we play, if theyre ok theyre still an extra body in midfield to take the pressure off Toure. Obviously not having Garcia and Fernandinho was, IMO, our downfall tonight.

Negredo has a shoulder injury, a historically annoying and frustrating injury, and it showed, and yes while Negredo has had a belter this season with two strikers we were going to get overrun, and Dzeko is no Aguero/Jovetic so the striker we did need to start with was someone like those 2.

Chelsea played us at the right time with us having injuries to key players.

MD was bordering on a joke in midfield.

Dzeko is out of form and Negredo looked like he has lost momentum after being rested.

No Sergio = no title, he is our match winner, the man for the big occassion and our true real fear factor.

Pellegrini should have put an extra man in midfield.

Disgrace of a performance that, worse than Bayern at home.

That'll be the old '2 man midfield v 5 man midfield' again then son.

Uncalled for. Give him credit at least for being in the position to shoot. He had a poor game shooting but it is horrible how he is your favorite scapegoat.

Unlucky to be playing them with 3 key players injured especially when two of them are indispensable members of our team. Fair play to Chelsea though they came a looked a lot hungrier than we did. They won practically every ball, Hazard and Willian were dominating in the air against Yaya, Zab, Demi and Kolorav. Its not good enough.

Also Silva's finishing is absolute dog shit. He has probably missed more sitters than he has scored for us it is that bad. Missing the first sitter in the first half was bad enough but for a player of his quality to miss an easier chance in the second half is a shambles.

Chelsea dominated that game start to finish, even with 10mins to go when you would think that it would be all out attack from City and backs to the wall from Chelsea. It wasn't.

Disappointing from you guys, BUT in all truth, I reckon that defeat has done you more good than harm. I reckon now you'll now go on a winning streak, obviously you were on one before this, but I think you'll demolish teams even more (if thats possible) this is sort of like a kick up the arse for you guys, a jump start, a recharge of batteries. Every team needs it at least once throughout the season. Chin up!

Whatever, prick. With aguero and fernandinho fit we would have won that. Chelsea bossed it ? Don't think so, they had a game plan and played well, but with a bit more luck it should have been city's game. Ivanovich had a swinger and it went in, Nastasic had a swinger at the end and fucked up - not our night.
