Pellers didnt get it wrong. Mourinho got it right.

Their defense was well organized, not even sure if Kun would be able to unlock it. I guess the lowest goal conceded is not for nothing.

Disagree, we had absolutely nobody up front making runs behind the defence, Silva thrives off Sergio because it makes his game easier with him being able to thread balls through to Kun's runs.

Sergio was what we missed up front and Fernandinho was missed when we needed to break up their play when Chelsea were going forward.

No Sergio = no title, he is the match winner and the big game fear factor.

I was screaming for Kolarov to take that last corner from the right side. I just can't understand why we don't use left footed players for right corners and vice-verse

The corners from the right were awful. big swerving balloon balls. What can any attacker do wiht that? What happened to the ball in to the front post for MDM to flick on?

Agree, our corners are awful. Half of them dont beat the first defender or are outswingers so easy to defend and no pace on the ball

Would like to see some inswingers from time to time just to mix it up.
It was far too easy for the chavs tonight as the new exactly where the corners were landing all night long.

Young players often have poorish second seasons.

He is slow, weak,cannot tackle,cannot win the ball in the air,resorts to grabbing his opponent when he is turned.. Poorish my arse ,he is going backwards at a much faster speed than he ever moves on the pitch... He is no better than savic -get rid..

Put aguero nasri fern and negrado in that side and its a totally different outcome.

Injuries don't help but that is what Pellegrini gets paid the amount of money he does to make the most out of the players he has available. The squad out there was good enough to at least get a point from that game had Pellegrini got his tactics right.

To be honest i'm surprised anyone is surprised by this. They had to win more than we did, and played like it. Mourinho is a master at this type of match. I still think over the course we'll come out on top.

Spot on. For all his theatrics, he outsmarted Pellegrini today, an it was not through unnattractive, defensive football. I really can't blame the players for this one, it was the same team that battered everyone else. It's just that his mind names worked again, you could almost tell that our guys were not up for it from the moment they left the dressing room.
