MDM looked out of his depth.
Our build up play was too slow, and we barely got out of 3rd gear.
Decent/ok from Joe, Navas, Jovetic
Baffling, only one sub used.
I'd've expected more from MP.

I now look back at Mourinho's comments against west ham and realise they were all directed towards this game. All week people were saying he's gonna park the bus and they did the exact opposite and city didn't really see that coming. He really is the best manager out there.

I still say City have the best team and should win the title but it's going to be very close.

Hmmmm madness .... was crying out for Milners energy to match them - You think Pellegrini would have learned from the Bayern game at home - to try and play 2 in midfield and 2 up front with Demichelis aginst a highly motivated Chelsea with bodies in midfield is absolute lunacy - Yaya must be furious!!!

Injuries don't help but that is what Pellegrini gets paid the amount of money he does to make the most out of the players he has available. The squad out there was good enough to at least get a point from that game had Pellegrini got his tactics right.

You can select the best tactics in the world, but the players have to still deliver. The team as a whole didn't do that - not the tactics.

Fucking shit game, and result.

We controlled the first 30 minutes and when they scored it all went to shit. Demichelis wasn't awful but he is not equipped to do a 3 man job (2 if Yaya pulled his weight). Ferna would have struggled in this game but we'd have got away with it and probably won the match IMO.
Hazard was unbelievable and ran the show in all fairness.
The 2 big positives from this game would be Hart and Jovetic. I also think we'll still win the league.

One thing I'm baffled by is that we only used 1 sub? Why did Milner or Rodwell not come on the help us in the middle?
