So how was that bus for you ?

The arrogance from the majority pre game was astounding !! Lots of "we're going to win 4 and 5-0's" " Jose is going
to be taught a lesson by Pelligrini, "we are the best team in the World we'll smash them"

I suggested a bit of humility and less arrogance wouldn't go a miss and just got abuse....well reading through the thread it appears some (suspect not many of the arrogant ones) have now got that humility.

As for the comparative managers, ironic that after the abuse hurled at Jose on here it was Pelligrinis post match interview that was classless and reaked of bitterness. Talk of "luck" "missing players" (fernandinho, nasri and aguerro all played at the Bridge) "money spent" tut tut I'm guessing there will much disgust on here about his lack of class.

That all said I still think you'll probably win the league but we'll give you a run for your money.

And with a post like that after a sore defeat on another teams forum you will get abused again.
Just fuck off back under your rock you giant ****!!

Haha thanks that just makes it sweeter.

Lets analyse Chelsea and City's seasons

FA cup - both put against eachother
Capital One - Chelsea knocked out by Sunderland and City in the finals, hmmm..
Champions League- both in the knockout (Lucky City got Barcelona and unlucky chelsea got Galatasray)
Premier League - City 2nd and Chelsea 3rd.

I know where I want to be mate and I know you shouldn't be on this forum either.

I think the vast majority have said Chelsea deserved to win. I was reading the pre match thread and I agree there were some idiotic predictions but to be honest you came across as a right twat yesterday and you are still doing today.

Maybe I did but in a sea of twats it's difficult not to.

Point being I made sensible points and not abusive but the keyboard warriors felt the need to have a go and I gave a little back in a restrained way.

Is that not inevitable on another fans site? One of your buddies posts on here regularly and he never gets abuse, we even have a rag on here that doesn't either.

Nothing worse than someone rubbing your nose in it when you have just been beaten.

Fair enough but you hadn't been beaten when I posted and I was just giving an alternate view to the "we'll smash them" hysteria. A few sensible people could see that but the majority were whipped up in a rabid hatred for Jose.

You got your win, you played well, perhaps the best you've played all season against a City side with three of its best players missing.

The table still says your third mate, your a good side and so are we.

Karma

Yes no dispute you are a great side and as I said still fancy you'll win the league but the players missing excuse doesn't stand up when you think all three played when we beat you at the Bridge.

You mean Joe hart and Nastasic handed you the game

Your away games against the big boys are as follows

Rags 0 Chelsea 0
arsenal 0 Chelsea 0
Everton 1 Chelsea 1
Newcastle 2 Chelsea 0
City 0 Chelsea 1

Your dropping points at home to the likes of West Ham and West Brom.

Wouldnt get too giddy just yet fella, no trophys for third in the league.

yep you beat us and were the better 11 last night but you will drop to many points not scoring, it took a great strike from your right back with his left foot to beat us, its the West Hams you need to take care of before we take you seriously, Jose completely out thought us as he just knew Silva would miss 2 sitters, Dzeko wouldn't be able to hit the target and YaYa would arrive a nano second late for Kolarovs cross,

System still bedding in and no Komps iirc and the cock up from a hoof at the end - added to that last night no Lescott, Garcia and half fit Milner. Oh and Negredo with his arm barely attached. Bare bones me thinks. You´ve been lucky with injuries. Imagine you lot last night without Hazard, Willian and Matic. Would have been a fair fight then

Yes all 3 players did play at the Bridge and despite the loss from a goalkeeping/defensive fuck up we were the better side over the 90 mins. You were last night. Your post here is just 'all about me' and not really opening up a discussion. If only we'd all listened to you oh wise one and showed a little more humility. Fuck right off.

Don't agree you were the better side at the Bridge the game was heading for the correct result on balance of play until your defensive lapse.

The point is confidence is good but it went way past that on here and just because I called you on it I got abuse. Not that it bothers me I just find the hypocrisy amusing.....not many commenting on Pelligrinis post match classless and bitter interview I note.

URe: City v Chelsea Post Match Thread

Chelsea are tailor made to beat a team like City especially when City are some way short of their best.

Chelsea are a pacy, powerful counterattacking side at their best. But against teams that sit back not so clever - couldn't beat West Ham.

Hopefully their lack of goals will find them out.

As for City I would be supremely confident with a fit squad but sadly we are a long way from being in that position.

Look Chelsea played a good game and we accept defeat but if you want to keep on rubbing it in and talking about how Mourinho has more class than Pellegrini (ask anyone on this planet, except you) then you should go back to your forum because this isn't it.

Well beaten by an excellent team. Hazard was brilliant. They looked faster and stronger.

Agreed with my son on the way out of the game that Demichelis had been our best player. Looks like we were wrong, however, as ever since he's been getting pelters right left and centre.

Wish Pellers had admitted they deserved to win by the way - he's better than that.

be interested why you think mdm was man of the match, caught out defensively time and time again when chelsea broke, i assume he was our holding player so in my opinion not doing the job he was put on the pitch for

Just think our success has been built on our first choice front six and we couldn't cope with suddenly being without half of them. On a night when a lot of our other usual 'big' players didn't shine (Zaba, Kompany, Silva, Yaya), I thought Demichelis never stopped trying, and his brain knew what he wanted to do even if his legs didn't at times! Navas never stopped either.
