City v Everton Post Match Thread

A great win!!

A tad nervous looking to start with, which is understandable (I suppose).

Kolarov is like a new signing.

Brilliant to have Silva back, even not at his best he scares the oppostion.

Nastasic looked like the player of last season when he came on, not the Nastasic of the past couple of games.

Lescott actually performed far better once Kompany went off. He looked shocking first 20 minutes.

Fernandinho looks a little bit exposed in a 2 man midfield. Letting Barry leave was a big mistake. Fernandinho would have been able to take over from him gradually.

I expect Negredo and Aguero to get 20 goals each this season, the way they are playing.

In January however we MUST sign another CB and a quality one as well. CB is the position that is hampering us more than any other.

I would like to see Nasri and Silva start together. Nasri has off ball movement like no other but Silva may be the only who could get those balls to him.
Toure can, but I agree that I would like to see them get a chance together.

We seem to end every game with more fouls no matter who we play. We nearly always dominate possession but end up with loads of fouls / yellows compared to other teams, is ridiculous.

Thought we played a solid game after a shaky start. Seemed like we really played well once we got Nasri out there for an extra midfielder. I don't see why we need to have 2 strikers every game and I think Samir deserves a spot on the field. Played well every game except Bayern, and nobody played well against Bayern.

Been saying this for 3 years. Best in the league off the ball. Don't know why he and SIlva hasn't worked too well in the past. Coz he moves like no other.

Team and tactics right today, would like to see that team next match.Tense in places but glad its over
The tactics was wrong again. As Everton had 5 in the middle. Hence why they dominated the 1st 15 minutes. That equalizer immediately after they scored broke them.

Oh well, personally, I'd like to see a shit lot more of Nasri on the field. And I still believe 1 striker is still the way to go.

They dominated the first 15 minutes? Honestly, I don't think they did. They had 1 clear chance from which they scored, never looked like scoring again. I think it was a spot on game and a great game for every player on the pitch !

We do commit a lot of tactical fouls to be fair, often necessary to stop the break.
