City V PSG ticket Prices: Club Statement

Moan when we are shite and moan when we're good.

Supporting a successful team costs money just like owning an expensive car costs money to run.

I'm afraid you want the best of both worlds and that's not a fair deal for our owners. They have changed us from a bag of shite to a trophy winning/ CL with the best manager in the world on the way.

They are not a charity and I'm afraid this success comes at a cost and we are the consumer start getting used to that idea I have.

No empathy then?

Our owners are the reason the ticket prices don't affect our revenue! They got us here therefore they have the right to charge us what they want.

Without our owners we'd probably be bottom half of the PL or in a lower division yet you have the audacity to demand lower ticket prices??

Our owners are doing what they can and we are still one of the cheapest set of tickets around.

If your mate built you a house to live in and then you moved in and demanded to live there for next to nothing you'd be classed as a cheeky git. Can't see any difference with the moaning fans on here why do they think our owners should give the tickets away after all the money they have put in?
That's a facile argument. Fans being priced out now have followed City through the dark times and paid to watch us then. Nobody is asking for it to be free, all city fans want is a victory with the ground to full and rocking. Charging 60 quid for most of the stadium means it won't sell out and the atmosphere will be piss poor.

Our players will probably leave it to the end about how we are still in this tie and will certainly have a difficult job to do. They come out to thousands of empty seats because our corportate executives are so out of touch with the supporters and are out to make a few extra peanuts in the scheme of things. All for a 500 billion pound owner who could lead the way with ticket pricing.

It is an ominous sign of classless opportunism from City.

Most of the stadium isn't £60 even the few bits that are It's only £60 to non members, it's been a very good debate in here today please don't spoil it with insults and spin.

Your last line is fucking awful. The rest is a bag of your usual shite as well but fuck me, the last one firmly nails your colours to the mast.
The more the tourists and corporate fans invest in us to enjoy the victories they pay for, the more indifference they show towards the fans of more modest means that have been here for the long haul and are now being priced out. Hardcore loyal fans now complaining about the price increases is explained away with being feckless and ungrateful.

Holistic = Thanks for the support but you poor people are just going to have to fuck off

East stand and Colin Bell levels 1 and 3 are £55

East and Colin Bell Level 2 £60

These aren't a few bits, this is the majority of the stadium and yes, 5 quid off for season card holders. It is still expensive and is pricing out supporters that are having this decision made for them not by them.

Is that right, Kiam? Once again, are your residing in the Middle East, or do you have connections to the Middle East? Because your constant ill thought out replies suggest that.

So Sheikh Mansour, via Khaldoon and Soriano, have the right to charge us what they want as far as you're concerned. Well I hope that's true, because if they continue to charge us what they want, City will be playing in-front of an empty stadium in the future. I take it you'll keep on turning up, even though your season ticket, or matchday ticket price continues to rise? Yes or no?

TBH I don't call BM forum members out. And I never have done since being on BM. But I would hazard a guess that you are either a Rag, WUM, or a Troll intent on prolonging the argument, even though many of your questions and concerns have been answered.

Carry on.

We could do without the ungrateful buggers so I think those unhappy with what our owners are doing should call it a day.

Altrincham, Stockport etc could do with your loyalty and they only charge a few quid a game so happy days all round.
Another fallacious argument. Do you have any empathy for the fans who followed city through ti
And then look at what most fans will expect us to spend in the Summer on new players. Pure greed indeed.
City have no need to hike up ticket prices year after year. This was something I was proud about City for. Ferran has turned us into Arsenal of the north.

Oi Bally - all you have done is slag our owner. 'Classless' seems to be a word that is perfectly appropriate to yourself.
This debate, on the whole, has been a good one. I can see reasonable points on both sides. But for you to call our owner, after all he has done, is totally laughable and I can only conclude you are a wum or a rag or both.

For the record I think ticket prices could be better graded. £60 a ticket is fine for tier 2 with no concessions, tier 1 (not first 5 rows) and front portion of tier 3 £40 with half price concessions. Back of tier 3 and front 5 rows of tier 1 should be £20 with half price concessions.
This would be similar to how theatres price gigs etc. Obviously we could then debate if the £60 should be £50 etc, but an optimum for the best seats seems fair and in accordance with the rest of the 'entertainment' industry. In time, hopefully there will be safe standing where we can pack em in at £20 a game.
Anyway, an enjoyable debate, apart from the idiotic slagging of our owner.

I never doubt your figures you are always spot on PB but remember those figures only read as they do due to our owners initial investment.

Some fans seem to forget that we'd be playing in the lower leagues now if it wasn't for them.

From a business perspective our owners deserve a return on their investment and the levels of that return are up to them as they got us to this position.
Who is this clown? Did you ever see us at Maine Road?
