City V Southampton post match discussion

Half of them never got started. Was like a preseason game until we were losing. Kompany looked shakey straight from the off. Silva was pants, clearly not fit. Lescott never won anything and was kicking the air half the time.

Rodwell did well enough until his mistake. Needs to work on his positioning both defensively and to recieve passes.

Nasri played well and deserves MOTM but even he went missing too much.

Fair play to Southampton tho. Look a very good side. They'll stay up.

But we won and showed yet again the character of champions. We must improve and we will.

Hope Aguero is ok. Looked a nasty one. Could be out for months :(

defence was so poor..but thank god we won.
need to stop doing it the hard way.

Re: Congratulations Southampton

They took it to us for sure. I think they will stay up. Their tactics were spot on attacking us from kickoff, fair play.

Will help us to train harder. A lesson for the champions.

City will learn more from this than a projected big win and to be honest a lot more exciting, the difference with us now is that we can turn it round.

Don't forget blues, nobody owes us a win and that's why I am more happy than dissapointed.

They definitely did their homework against us. They were 1 step ahead on every pass that was played.

Re: Congratulations Southampton

good luck to them for the rest of the season. I hope that blows away any misconception that retaining the title will be easy. It won't and players are going to have to work bloody hard.
