Llanna is a bit of niggly bastard, lost count of the times he had a bite at the back of Yaya's legs, and oh how funny were the S'ton fans singing 'He's just too good for you' - no he's not you fucking dickheads, not with the likes of David Silva in our team. Can somebody remember because I'm sure it was the S'ton fans that boo'ed Aguero when he was stretchered off in front of them. If it was them then I hope they all remembered that and felt embarrassed by watching how the City fans reacted to Rodriquez being stretchered off today. And finally the atmosphere today was shocking for a team aiming for the title. After our third went in Kolarov ran the back the full length of the East stand urging everybody to get behind the team vocally. We can make the difference, at times the players must wonder are the fuck we bothered at their efforts because you can always hear the loud groans at a miss placed pass or control.

We can make the difference, at times the players must wonder are the fuck we bothered at their efforts because you can always hear the loud groans at a miss placed pass or control.

Thought he was giving it back to the fans who had been moaning at one or two of his misplaced passes. Seemed a bit of venom in it.

Agree - I sit in that stand. It was deffo Kolarov giving a bit back to the crowd.

I was sat in the stand and didn't see one bit of venom in it, he just appeared to be trying to get the fans to be a little more vocal.

Playing the way we play we will always get goals like that, whether it be wrongly given penalties, offsides, or whatever. Brendan Rogers got asked the other day about how many penalties Liverpool had been given this season and whether he thinks he has the rub of the green or not. He said no, I had exactly the same thing at Swansea, it's the way I like to play.

Unfortunately although it's hard to stomach, it's why our friends across the road used to have all those decisions for them. It's easy to pinpoint them when you are on the defending side and 9/10 have been called correctly.

We were terrible though we can't play that way if we don't have the ball or have any real movement, which is why they dominated

We didn't take the game to them as we didn't play at all for 40 mins, just shows what we can do when we click as we did in the second half, which is what I meant

It's jot that we were trying anything different, there were just too many passengers and mistakes first half, and you can't do that against a team that presses and keeps the ball, was my point

We scored 3, hit the bar when it was easier to score and Nasri missed a good opportunity and we were terrible?

Soton played a very high risk game by playing a very high defensive line which gave them possession, but also left them very exposed when we got behind them.

We played much better in the 2nd half, but we weren't terrible in the 1st half. We just struggled to cope with Soton's unusual tactics, and when we did we scored

We were shit first half we couldn't keep the ball, we smashed them second half yeah, but not sure what was positive about the first half other than the goals and 2 were against the run off play, that's my point

in fairness if you have played 2nd fiddle to the mighty porstmouth for most of your time , they will have a massive chip on their shoulders , they have come a long way , 8,000 crowds at The Dell , and now comfortably avoiding relagation every season

I'm sure we will. Which I am now glad that Pellegrini got it right by not playing Aguero today. I can't stomach Dzeko leading the line anymore. And I hope Milner plays of Navas. The anfield game is going to have to be pure graft.

Obviously I'm not one to stir up trouble, but a Bosnian Blue I know who sits in 107 was pretty adamant that Kolarov was giving a well known Yugoslav insult to the fans. Not sure if it was aimed at anyone in particular, or the fans generally though.

Southampton have come through a lot in recent years: relegation, administration, having Harry Redknapp as manager.
