Hart shit on that goal but that's not the real reason we lost. That game was lost in the first half, when we ambled around, for the umpteenth time, with millions of completely toothless three yard passes in midfield, as if we thought we had ten hours to play rather than one and a half. When we upped the rhythm, that is, having gone behind, we looked as we should have looked for the whole ninety minutes. Fair do's to Stoke, they scored on the break, they defended with what they had, they deserve their victory because we did almost nothing to win that for sixty minutes or so.
On to Arsenal when, thank God, we will know we have to play right from the whistle.

Forty first fucking minute before we showed any pace or urgency. Had a couple of chances.
Then come out after half time and started the half exactly the same. Frustrating or what.

Stoke came with a clear gameplan, defend with 11 men, and if they get a counter try to make the most of it. It can get 3 points even at the Etihad it is sad.

We knew what to expect from Stoke. And they ended up with deserved 3 points.

Few more important dropped points at home and we will be looking to get around 80 points only.

16-3-0, 16-2-1, 17-1-1, be worse then these at home, and we only can win if we have nearly impossible away record.
So far its 1-0-1, and some real tough teams still will come.

We need to be ready big time for the week coming after break, play like this vs Arsenal, Bayern, Chelsea, and we will struggle to get a win in those 3 games.

Our lack of pace in the squad really showed today.

Now you see why Madrid pay silly amounts for fast players. They counter with ferocity, not tap tap, nobody up, look around, back pass, sideways pass, on and on. That was us for 70 minutes.

Frustrating. It seemed like late on, all of our passes in the final third were these stupid long balls that had little to no chance of dropping favorably for us. We got impatient way too quickly.
