And Sagna unfortunately doesn't offer as much as Zab. Zabaleta's runs behind defense are our trademark. Navas does it but his crosses are so shite it's untrue.

Our lack of pace in the squad really showed today.

Now you see why Madrid pay silly amounts for fast players. They counter with ferocity, not tap tap, nobody up, look around, back pass, sideways pass, on and on. That was us for 70 minutes.

Absolutely awful result, like the team just couldn't get going today, fair play to Stoke they came up with the typical lets have nearly everyone in defence ploy again which we tripped up on, still I hope Pelligrini give's the team a absolute roasting during the week................

Credit Stoke who gave a masterclass in defending. Well done Hughes he completely outfoxed Pellers. They fully deserved the result. What was very clear is that we miss Zabbas overlapping runs, thought Sagna didnt really know when to make runs and was very nervous. What worries me is that teams will study this game and we may have to play against this type of defence throughout the season.

Absolutely depressing. Both fullbacks were absolutely garbage today. Hart, for their goal, should hang his head. In fact, every single player should hang their heads. Why, oh why, by the way, at one nil down in the 90th minute are we trying to do little back heels on the edge of the box? Just bleeding shoot!

Also we need to stop fucking around during corners. Why not wipe it in with pace (and properly so as almost every corner failed to make it onto a City head.)

We suffered a similar goal last season after screwing around with set-pieces and trying to over-do it.

Also I am sorry to say but how did Aguero and Jovetic start this game today when 99% of us predicted they will play very physically and bully us off the ball. Today was a game for Dzeko to start in.

And a final point, does anyone know the severity of Fernando's injury?

Disgraceful performance. Until pellegrini get's it into his head that we cannot play with a 2 man midfield one of which is Yaya we're fucked! Hart is a very average goalie , not sure Willy is any better. deserves a chance though because at this stage anyone would be better than Hart!

So Stoke outplayed us in midfield you dick...
