City v Stoke Post Match Thread

Haven't seen the game, been playing football myself this afternoon but I think some of you need to chill. If we beat Stoke away where we usually lose then this result doesn't matter. I am absolutely astounded we didn't win though, did they have many chances to win or just the one?

Disgraceful performance. Until pellegrini get's it into his head that we cannot play with a 2 man midfield one of which is Yaya we're fucked! Hart is a very average goalie , not sure Willy is any better. deserves a chance though because at this stage anyone would be better than Hart!

So Stoke outplayed us in midfield you dick...
No ones saying we got outplayed there but the fact that that cnut ran unchallenged right through our middle would suggest that we were lacking something there yes. Yayas contribution is on the wane.

Deserved to lose. Outplayed to a man today.

We could have won, easily.

Hart's been carried by his team mates for years. I honestly can't believe how bad he is.

We lost our shape when Fernando went off, and our full backs just didn't get forward. Why we don't play Zaba every game is baffling?

We still had enough chances to have won by 3 or 4. It's hard to take, but it will be a good wake up call

Sagna is no Zabs.

But I guess we already knew this.
Agreed ..there was no threat from right wing at all
I think Sagna killed us down the right. Most of the time he received the ball passed it inside then stood still. That meant silva, nasri or toure had to turn back or cut inside where it was congested. No way would we have lost that with zabba and dzeko from the start.

Shit happens, when a team plays a flat back 10 and the referee lets them do as they please then you are always going to be relying on a bit of luck for the first goal, once that goes in your fine. We didn't get that luck today and we conceeded a terrible goal. Yaya when unfit is painful on the eyes, but he'll only get fit by playing and we need him at his best, so it's just one of those things were going to have to deal with. Neither fullback played well either, but it's tough with just so many opposition players in their own box to pick people out.

Frustrating as fuck to watch, but just one of those things that can happen against a parked bus. Lee Mason needs to be taken outside and shot though, how he's allowed to referee our games continues to amaze me.

Classic case of complacency, only started playing after the goal. Really hope we don't need a goal every game to gets us going. Also, how is a league winning, professional football club this bad at corners?! I've been saying it for ages, and yet they are consistently crap week in/week out!

deserved to lose but not going to be critical of the team. its a wake up call that not all team will play open for us. we were bereft of ideas. Sagna needs to settle in the RB which will inevitably happen.

the only thing I hated was the very soft decisions that went against us. its like touch rugby at times. but its one of those things that we cannot rely too much on either.

hoping for other title contenders to drop points atm.

Same team should of started this game that played Liverpool Aguero coming on with 20 mins to go would of made difference also Aguero shouldn't be coming into midfield to pick the ball up
