Champions at home should not be losing to Stoke - but it´s early season and sometimes you need a good kick up the arse - this has to be it. Baffling frankly but we´ve had it so good recently - you just can´t win them all

When we struggle it tends to be against a hard working organised team who defend with everyone behind the ball. You rely on a bit of ‘magic’ in these circumstances, which wasn’t forthcoming today.

Add that to inept defending and poor goalkeeping and you get results like today.

Disgraceful performance. Until pellegrini get's it into his head that we cannot play with a 2 man midfield one of which is Yaya we're fucked! Hart is a very average goalie , not sure Willy is any better. deserves a chance though because at this stage anyone would be better than Hart!

Exactly. They won nearly every 2nd ball and seemed up for it more than us. Think a lot is to do with fitness.
Not getting hold of the ball properly and under/over hitting passes are all symptomatic of not being up to speed.
We'll get better, a lot fucking better and we'll need to be with the games coming up.

Stoke did the perfect smash and grab unfortunately for us, gotta find a way of stopping it from happening more often though.

And that's all it was. Some of the hysterical shite on here leads me to believe some of our supporters need constant cuddles and love, like some abused child. This Stoke side is never a pushover, and they reverted to type, and stifled the fuck out of City, who were not on the best of days. It happens, it has happened before and it will happen again.

Thats what pisses me off it completely negates the Liverpool victory. Its a wake up call and a chance for Chelsea to get an early lead going.
