City v Utd post match

United threw down the gauntlet "we're here for a 0-0, come and break us down" and to be honest I don't think we did enough to say we truly deserved to win. Silva would have been the key and we missed his decisive pass. Having said all that I never thought I would see the day when "the biggest club in the world" would actively come to our place aiming to get a 0-0 draw and then celebrating afterwards. How times have changed.

they did the same in 2012, although they didn't get to celebrate that day.

Tonight Mourinho played football that those clueless ****s claimed to detest 10 yrs ago

Now they celebrate it. Almost embarressed for then
You have to be embarrassed for them as they lack the self awareness to feel it themselves. I just chuckled in new heights of disbelief when I watched them erupt into delirium at the final whistle.

I'm not sure about this being the worst rag side in a generation.
In 2013-14 we beat them 4-1 at The Etihad. Their first shot on target (possibly their first shot at all) was their goal after about 70 minutes when we were already 4-0 up.
We won 3-0 in the return and were much more dominant than when we beat them 6-1.
If last night was the worst rag team in a generation then we've slumped a bit since Peller's team was ripping new ones every couple of weeks.
Now if you called them the most clueless rag team, or the most dour, or possibly even the most scared, then I might have to agree.
I was hoping for a late back-heel to re-enact events of 43 years earlier.

Small margins in front of goal. Couple of inches either way and we could have had 3 goals last night. They had nothing because we gave them nothing. Solid at the back and dominant in midfield.

What is really funny is the Rag's we absolutely ecstatic; not only about the result, but the performance.

Because they're smalltime now and deep down they know we are the better and bigger club these days.

They've had their years in the sun, they've joined Liverpool in the mediocre wilderness now and the derby is their biggest game of the season.

The matches where we have collected less than three points can be explained thus! Millimetres in some cases.

Just made a big mistake, reading the Mail's write-up if the game (it's my parents' paper, I promise)....complete and utter tosh! Utd this, Mourinho that, Rashford the other. Oh, and City played better. Then made a bigger mistake - moved onto the Express write-up (also not my paper!). The most laughable pile of guff I have ever seen. In their player marking, they actually make the rags the better team. And the headline: "Ten-man reds can hold heads up". WT actual F.

Both papers seem to blame Aguero for getting headbutted too, which is just bizarre seeing as the press hounded the FA to ban the same player as a despicable thug after the 1st league derby when something far less aggressive took place.

Remember when Fergie took umbrage at the Tevez poster & described City as a having a small club mentality. Well that performance by United is of a club with a small club mentality.

Are the FA going to cite them for surrounding the ref when bog brush was red carded?
