City Victory Parade - 2022/23

Let’s never ever be like them

Yes they have more ‘fans’ but who gives a fuck
Same as the dippers
We are better than them
And even if we weren’t we would still not give a shit
No one supports City because we think we will win or have a right to win
They do it because it’s a great club and it’s not like them

Oh and if Liverpool have a million people at their parade then fair play to them
Because as far as I can remember they only won 1 premier league and 2 champions league in three decades
Their parade’s are better than the football team!
 
Put it on a few socials, but not heard anything yet. Don’t suppose anyone happened to find one of the treble winners flags around anywhere did they? I’m laid up after an operation, so daughter went with friends. She took her spends to buy a flag, but it seems to have come off in the crowds. This was near the start, where the busses set off from. She’s devastated, as she wanted to add it to her collection in her room. Any help would be greatly appreciated(realise it’s a bit of a shot in the dark).

The public transport system was close to breaking point with the numbers on Monday. No way could it deal with twice as many people.

Wouldn't a FOIA request to GMP clear it up once and for all? They must have to record accurate numbers for reference in how to deal with future events.

If you want to check, their 1999 treble is available on VHS, and possibly betamax. Not sure if dvd was around then or not off the top of my head, it was so long ago.

Our tram from Timperley had to stop at the swamp because the doors couldn't close as there were so many people crushed in.

The heat inside was sickening. Remember when COVID was a thing?

The driver ordered people off but nobody could move.

Funniest part was the one fella stood on the platform holding his United megastore bag, if anything provided an image of the gulf between us...
