Praise where its due, and balotelli is due some tonight. As for the ref, it was a penalty but its our own fault it was a penalty we needed to win the match.

Only it wasn't.

Because we were 1-0 up after 5 minutes apart from the bent refereeing that decided the blatant foul on Yaya didn't matter.
Never a penalty Yaya went down easy.

like ashley the cheat young then.

We really need to start these games better. Have we scored in the first half hour of a CL game yet? Always scrambling around late on trying to win or scramble a draw. Far too slow in the first half but pace and urgency was much better in the 2nd. Disastrous performance again from Barry.
eerrrrrr, YaYa scored in the 22nd minute

hahahahahahhaha

Re: Zabaleta - What did he say?

I missed it, but supposedly Zabaleta was caught on camera saying something indecent. Did anyone catch it?

He said "every time you give a fucking offside." Zab was monumental tonight.

We weren't good enough again tonight. Spent too much of the match playing at no tempo. Fuck knows what we do in training all week because our attacking play is going backwards. Relying on set pieces isn't good. Relying on desperate late goals isn't good. Relying on a piece of individual brilliance isn't good.

Very very big game against Spurs this weekend now. Can't see us taking more than a point.

Mancini out?

I can't imagine tevez making a worst fist of playing midfield than Garcia. fuck me we've been hoodwinked there. Worth a try for me , effort, tenacity, and the ability to pass the ball forward and actually manage to find one of own players. Jesus how often did barry/garcia give up possesion cheaply tonight?

I thought that despite what most people seem to be saying we played- bar a couple of instances of poor defending- very well tonight.

We got massively unlucky with the decisions- really, really angry about the shirt pull on Balotelli.

Thought that everyone in the team played fantastic- haven't seen Balotelli or Aguero look as dangerous as tonight all season- think Sergio needs some new boots though

It's not over until it's over

Are you basing this on Spurs getting owned by Wigan in their own back yard last weekend or on City's very good showing tonight?
