City Vs Chelsea Pre Match Discussion Thread

Not too sure about this one. Defeat could see Chelsea only 1 point behind us.

Team i'd go for:

Hart

Zabaleta
Kompany (if fit)
Nastasic
Clichy

Milner
Yaya
Barry
Silva

Aguero
Dzeko

And if they score more goals than we do, they could win the game.... ;-)

I think there as not been a bettter weekend to play Chalsea all season then this one.


I can't see Chalsea being happy playing us in between a tough thursday night game against Sparta Prague and a tough FA cup away game against Middlesbrough.


The spainish waiter has some big decisions to make becuase it will be hard to play is best 11 in all 3 games., and even if he plays is best 11 against us if we keep it tight a the back they will start to fade after an hour.

Im going for 3 nil win to us.

IF he's fit, I'd play Rodwell rather than Barry. Saw the former in the flesh for the first time against Leeds; he looks a real athlete and think he could man-mark one of the 'three amigos' (as the press like to ridiculously decribe a Spaniard, Brazilian and Belgian in the Chelski midfield).

It'll be tight, but if there's 100% application I fancy us; no way Chelski's back line can cope with a rampaging Apache and Kun.

rodwell will be match fit by sunday even though i don't think mancini will play him.

and barry and yaya got murdered at southampton in the middle due to lack of pace (yes yaya is slow as fuck defending at times).

imagine what oscar, hazard and mata will do? a lot more than southamptons midfield.
